Adam & his entire staff are dedicated to ensuring that you achieve your goals. The first thing you…read morenotice when you walk in is how this place looks like no other gym you have ever seen! They don't have lots of fancy machines, they don't have any mirrors - what they do have is a system that works. I lost 20 pounds in 8 weeks, my daughter lost 15 pounds and my wife lost 20 as well! The results are not just about weight - they are about changing the way you look at almost everything! My cardio and my attitude and my energy level have increased dramatically thanks to NGPT! You also need to know that every team member was also a customer first! Trish is one of the most inspirational coaches I have ever met - and she lost over 180 pounds doing the program. ' Their board of people who have lost 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, etc pounds is amazing and TRUE! If you are ready to make a real change in your life, NGPT is the place to begin the journey!

I know several people have come here and lost some serious weight.... it isn't surprising given how…read moresupportive NGPT is. I began taking classes here to get off campus and get some exercise in (graduate school hasn't been so kind to my previous active lifestyle). After coming here I ended up finding community outside of graduate school that was health conscious and motivated. I lost a few pounds, and gained some serious strength. I'm not going to lie; getting motivated to hit the gym at the end of a stressful day is hard, but knowing that I've got a supportive crew waiting for me at the gym certainly helps. BONUSES: 1) Online scheduling: Helps keep class sizes under check and ensures that I hit the gym when I say I will. 2) Cool people: I was afraid I'd run into the classic 'jock' types but this is far from the case. The people who come here are personable and fun to be around. 3) Inspiration: So many people have lost weight and have managed to keep it off. If they can do it; I can keep a healthy lifestyle too! 4) TRX: Seriously the coolest workout thing ever. 5) Functional training: Since working out here I've noticed my day-to-day activity/energy has improved immensely; something I haven't been able to recreate from traditional gym workouts. DOWNSIDES: 1) Music: I get tired of listening to the same music at EVERY workout. In class you are guaranteed to be listening to repeat playlists of either classic rock, funk, random 80's beats, or uber hyped up pop music. It is tolerable the first 10 classes... then it gets old. Perhaps they could sync Spotify/Grooveshark/Pandora or something to vary it up a bit. 2) Equipment: The mats used for classes are old and beat up, but this isn't such a big deal if you bring your own. 3) Wish there were more late night classes (lately they've been getting better about changing the schedule up and adding in new ones) If you are looking to become more active, shed a few pounds, find some cool friends, or need an outlet to stay sane this place is the jam!

Good amount of equipment and basketball court. Way overpriced and outdated in my opinion though. I…read morelive out of town and was coming there for several months to play basketball with old friends and was already paying $7 for a day pass just to do that which is a bit high. Recently when trying to get the day pass, which, again is $7, they told me I would have to leave as soon as the staff left which was in 15 minutes basically forcing me to get a membership. For years I had been getting the day passes and there was never a problem like that so its quite frustrating for a loyal supporter of the gym for several years. Would definitely recommend other gyms for better services and equipment.

Fit-for-the-King Family Fitness Center is one of the best fitness facilities in Indiana! The staff…read moreis educated, genuinely kind, and will go at great lengths to ensure you reach your fitness goals. My experience has been only positive and the facility and patrons have become like family. They have a variety of health and wellness programs for all ages. I personally like Gary's CrossCamp! Heather Foy's classes are fun and safely designed and the other instructors are amazing. The equipment is updated, rarely out-of-service, and available. When the place is busy, there's so much variety and room to move I've never had to wait on a machine! They offer childcare, the only fitness center with an AED that I'm aware of, and offer many types of health and wellness programs sponsored by the gym and the local hospital. Whether you are looking to lose weight, become a bodybuilder (Yes! Dorian Haywood got his start here!), a runner, etc....this place has it all at an extremely affordable price! I cannot say enough great things about this place! Try it! I guarantee you will find it perfect for your fitness goals like me at an extremely affordable price!!!
