Don't buy a car from Scott Evans Nissan in Carrollton. I had the worst experience with them. They have very poor customer service. I was promised to be picked up the finish the deal. I had to take a whole PTO day instead of couple hours. I had to call them to find why i wasnt picked up to finish the deal. They were clueless to the arrangement. Then finally someone said they would pick me. The next call was from the dealership stating they found issues with the car. It's not ready. I didnt received a call Thursday about this issue nor a call Friday. The car was supposed to be ready Friday morning. The GM said he would call me personally to let me know the time to get my check. Can I put ZERO stars? This place is an absolute joke. I was told a set price when I was called on the outcome of my cars diagnosis. They charged me almost 1k dollars more than what the set price I was told over the phone! They will find any little thing that you say is a concern with your vehicle and run with it. When I asked them how they came up with a conclusion on how that what was wrong and if they ran any diagnosing tests, they told me well no, we just went with what you said was wrong with it and put and two together. The customer service department is definitely something that needs to be better handled and train there employees to better handle situations with there customer. I guess I should have read these reviews before I drove all the way out there. I was looking at an Infiniti they had on line and had some back and forth with one of their internet sales support. I decided on a Saturday that I was going to go take a look at it. Since it's an HOUR and 20 minute drive EACH WAY, I contacted her to make SURE the vehicle was there. She got right back to me to tell me yes, it's there, "when will you be there?" I told her and left. When I get there, Brandon asks if I'm here from TN to see the car.. No, why? Well, someone ELSE drove all the way there to test drive the car, and it wasn't there. It was supposedly "at the auction" but if I wanted to wait an hour or two, they might be able to get it back. After 4 hours I managed to buy a truck from this dealership. The salesman (Kevin) was great. But, then you deal with SYLVESTER!! What a disaster for a manager. Rude to his employees and their customers. Took an hour for them to tell me what the truck cost (asked several times). Took 2 hours to get the finance paperwork ready, but took only 5 minutes to re-do the paperwork after I caught them trying to change the deal and I walked out. Rogue Sport 2019. New tires on my vehicle. A large puncture from Road Hazard knocked my back right wheel out just weeks after my new tires were put on. I was told multiple times that the tire would be in at 9AM. Guess what wasn't in at 9AM? The tire I ordered. The associate, John (I believe that was his name)...Basically just told me that the order didn't come in and I would have to wait on it. He gave no timeline other than "it should be here by 4PM". I assume I am being mislead again. I will lose precious hours on my transit and work. John hasn't come back or updated me once on where my tire is. This is the WORST Nissan I have been to and I will not be returning. It is always something here. False diagnostic last time which delayed me a day before, delayed parts, etc. 0 reliability. My review from two years ago was 5 stars. However, now I would not recommend any one go there. Customer service is little to nonexistent. They (top to the bottom: Scotty Johnson, Saeje Brown, Jon Lanham) are full of it. My family has bought 3 cars from SE in the past 4 or 5 years & we've sent others to SE because of the customer service. When I totaled my pathfinder, I decided to go back despite Mr. Rodney not being there because the service had been good. I totaled the car over Thanksgiving break. I stopped by after school 12/13/21 to ask if there were any teacher discounts (Cobb and Douglas school systems offer discounts at the local dealerships) and to let them know I would be coming in the following week. Met with Saeje, advised him that I'd be in the following week & asked about a teacher discounts & also let him know I was looking for another pathfinder. He advised me that he would get me the best deal possible and he would see me next week. Advised him that mom would be getting the car. He got my number, said he'd get her info so all I would have to do is come in & shop. Well, when school lets out for break, my dad and I go in to meet with Saeje. Did not do what he said. Didn't reach out to mom for info like he said. He had an appointment with some VIPs (I assume) because I was given Chris. I told Saeje that I wanted another pathfinder. So, they bring me a dodge journey. Poor Chris got wrangled into this mess. He was trying to move the trunk cover to let up the seats. I told him it did not have a third row; that is what I loved most about my pathfinder and it works for all of my school stuff and my girls' gymnastics stuff. Really, we should have left after that nonsense. However, my dad is soooo nonconfrontational and willing to give people many chances, we stayed. We get the car from SE dodge and drive it back to SE Nissan. No floor mats. Asked about them via service and I was told I could buy some. Whatever. Again, the whole process shows piss-poor customer service. At the end of January, the trunk stops opening manually or with the key. I called they told me to bring it in. I brough it in February. Chris (I think that is his name) in service told me that his team has been hit by covid and I would need to leave the car or I can drop it off at 730 and they can take me to work late. I tried to explain to him that I have two girls to drop off in car riders and we come from Douglasville. He didn't care. I went back the next week and saw Jon. Jon had been servicing the other pathfinder this time and was normally good about providing great customer service. I told him what happened with the trunk and that Chris told me I could be late to work and they could drop me off. Jon said to bring the vehicle back on the following Wednesday afternoon and he would give me a loaner because his first available appointment wasn't until Thursday. I was very clear in the fact that I had appointments and the girls have gymnastics appointments. That is why Jon said I'd have the loaner. Well, guess what people? Piss-poor customer service occurred on that Wednesday. Went to get the loaner and drop the car off Jon is acting like he didn't tell me to bring the car in. He didn't want to give me the loaner. He's telling me I can wait here. Sir, stop with the BS when this is what you told me to do. I got there at 325 to get all of this situated. Jon told me that oh it'll take me longer to call the insurance. This is what the freak you told me to do!! Scott Evans will just say anything and not live by their word. I was heated and I left. I called my dad and let him know about the run-around they were given. My dad called and Scotty Johnson was off when he called and he had to call the next day. Scotty acted like he cared and told my dad he would speak to the service team and all of the BS about covid. I could care less about that. Do what the freak you said you were going to do. Ok, so I have been shopping for a vehicle for a bit now and regularly check out the listings on one of the major car listing sites (Car Smart People - if you can translate that) which allows you to make contact with their internet team. I did this for one of their vehicles that was showing had an accident on it's CarFax. (Just an FYI everyone - an accident even when repaired lowers the value of a car at least 10-30% no matter how nice the repair was done - the dealers definitely take advantage of this when they pay YOU for a car so be aware when you are going to pay THEM). Anyhow, so the Internet Sales lady named Liz responds via telephone to my inquiry - here are her promises NONE OF WHICH WERE KEPT! I wasted more than 5 hours total due to her empty lies and B.S. (more than 2 hour drive each way plus time at the dealership) 1) She acknowledged the car had been in an accident and that "We will aggressively deal with you on the price once you are here in person" - LIE 2) Since I was coming a distance she offered that if we did not come to agreement on a price they would give me a certificate for a free oil change. - LIE - not offered 3) She promised me what she kept referring to as a "Savings Certificate" and said all I had to do was respond to her text that she sent and it would be waiting for me at the dealership. - LIE - no such thing existed 4) She backed up her position stating that they had quotas to be met and were not meeting them and it was near the end of the month so they would do everything to get me an awesome price on the car. Trying to do everything she could to convince me it was worth the drive to their dealership. - I was offered the price the car had been listed at online for 3 months before it was just jacked $500 a couple days before my inquiry. Due to Liz's promises I had come to the dealership expecting a price $1500 lower than offered...this would have been effectively a 9% discount. (I would like to point out that the car's value with NO accident is what they were asking for it in Excellent condition via KBB) Anyhow, they might be okay to deal with if you walk in off the street and just want to wing it with buying a vehicle but when it comes to promises from their Internet Sales Staff - DO NOT TRUST THEM! I would point out that the Internet Sales Staff at the Nissan dealership in Doraville has full authority and they honor what they say - just purchased a car from them painlessly and at a great price...what we all wish Car Buying would be. I was in the process of narrowing down what vehicle I wanted to purchase, I went in for a test drive and all was fine. The sales guy would not lay off trying to get me to trade a vehicle I was not interested in selling even after I had asked him to drop the subject. I had made it clear that I intended to make a decision and purchase my new vehicle in 6 weeks. During that time I received multiple sales calls and I asked to not call. They continued to pester me; therefore I purchased my Juke at a different dealership. My vehicle had been recalled and I had to take it in for service at Scott Evans. Fast forward to a year and a half, I've received tons of junk mail from them and now am receiving calls asking me to trade in. I, again, said I was happy with my car and to please stop calling me which they do not respect. Great example of old school tactics and tricks to screw customers. When we got to the finance manager he actually changed the price on the deal and called it a communications error. They then changed the finance rate and terms from what we agreed to. When we got up and left they blamed us for not understanding the rebate offers. So when we agree to a price and sign a paper that has that price and then they change the price and try to get us to sign it it's out fault? RUN from this place! read more

We drove to Carrollton from Lagrange based on reviews! We were so impressed with Justin and Brandon! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, had the truck we wanted to test drive and the moment we said we wanted it but needed running boards on it they checked the stock and took the truck back to have them installed before we left! That was so impressive! both Justin and Brandon made us comfortable and checked to see if we needed anything while we waited on finance, and they went the extra steps to get us exactly were we wanted to be on rates and price without haggling or fuss. I am super impressed with this dealership. If you are thinking of a Nissan or used vehicle take the drive to Scott Evans and you will not be disappointed. everyone is nice and they DO go the extra mile. Stay away from this place! I went in to look at a used vehicle and they wouldn't even show it to me without talking financing. I have an outstanding credit score and was ready to drop a substantial down payment which would have been 1/3 of the vehicles value. The salesman didn't ask about a down payment but asked what a comfortable monthly payment would be and I told him what I thought. He made a few cocky arrogant statements and disappeared for 20 minutes and was chit chatting with all the other sales people and forgot about me. I left as the Covid numbers are high and NOBODY in the dealership was wearing a mask and no longer felt comfortable. But he proceeded to waste 15 minutes of my life explaining these things in the most condescending manner, it would have been hilarious if it weren't so insulting! Do not go to this location if you're in the market for a used car. They wouldn't even tell me the price of the car until I gave my social and signed a document. The guy considered me a moron because he said it was to protect my identity. I don't need my identity protected to see a number on a piece of paper, in fact, my identity was safer BEFORE I gave you any information or signature. I am a moron for continuing the sale, but my daughter wanted that vehicle and I was tired of driving around. Avoid this place, go anywhere else. If I could leave less I would, needless to say my elderly mother took her 2018 truck up there to see why the check engine light was on and at no point has anyone been able to tell us why. However, they ended up getting her in a new truck. After we discovered this had happened we tried to go up there and just get her old truck back which they refused. The scammed her into a new truck and an additional $10,000 in fees and randomness they slipped into the paperwork. They do not care about anyone and I don't recommend ever doing business with them. It's truly saddening that the world we live in have people like this out there but here we are. My son was in the market of buying a used car and he was inquiring about one at this location. He was given the runaround about when a safety check would be done. Today he called and had the phone on speaker so I could hear the conversation. The Sales General Manager was was extremely rude to him and told him that he would only give him $1000 for his car, which was no big deal. He then demanded with a snotty attitude, "How are you going to pay for the rest of the car?" "Do you have cash for the difference?" My son said, yes and he still was nasty. We were presented an handwritten page with only our monthly payment and wanted us to sign. After sending the salesperson back 3 times stating I am not going to sign a blank statement and requested to move forward to finance mgr to go over the details, they still refused to present the details of the finances that supported the payment. They did not tell us the interest rate or nothing, only the handwritten page they wanted us to sign. After reading previous comments, I am certain they were going to change the finances on the form. They advertise a price on the internet and in the local paper. You go there to buy it and they try to get you to pay an "environmental fee" of $700 (addendum) which, they will tell you, they don't know what it's for. Also, they ask a silly amount for "document fee." Even if you make a deal after all of this silliness, they try to get you to finance it with them and if you don't -- the price goes up. They even tell you this!! Good grief!! Stay far, far away. read more
