He left a piece of the root in as it was a difficult extraction - the problem was, when I went back as it started protruding from the gum, they said "how do they know it was a piece of the tooth?" and were going to charge me to take it out (I already paid them $300+ the first time to take the tooth out. I went to another dentist ... literally less than five minutes in the chair and she popped it out. I wont go back to Dr Gresko. Positively, he was friendly.

All this man cares about is money, and not what is in the best interest of the patient. He does unnecessary extractions because they pay more (especially for status) and also because he refuses to stand behind his work when fillings come out. He treats his staff like they are second class citizens- he talks down to them in front of patients and refers to them as unconfident single mothers. His hygienist has shaky hands and I seriously wonder if she is qualified to do her job. His assistant doesn't even have a high school diploma, let alone a dental assisting certificate (which is illegal) He hires random uneducated/unqualified employees so he won't have to pay for experienced employees. The office they use to have in Marathon had a travelling optometrist who had an extremely long waiting period because he only travelled to the community one to two days a month. When you stepping into the office it was like stepping back into the 80's. Moving my family to Thunder Bay to be assessed is a decision I am glad we made. I bring my children to Dr. Valente and I have been impressed with how he engages with my children and takes the time to be meticulous with their assessments.
