We met Scott when he hosted an open house in Fort Myers. He had staged the home beautifully, made it look comfortable and homey even though it had been vacant for a while. When we purchased the house, Scott helped us through the inspection process and final sale. We would definitely recommend , and have recommended Scott the next time we buy or sell. read more

It is Diamond Oakes Village in Bonita Springs, Florida. When looking for a senior living facility the important factors are cost, location, quality of life, food, service, safety, friendliness of staff. Diamond Oaks Village excels in all of these factors. The complex is fairly new built in 2017 an originally open as a 55+ community. In June 2024, it was converted to a independent living facility by Discovery Corp. They have a variety of 1,2,3-bedroom floor plans to choose from. All include a screened in lanai and indoor parking. Pricing is the lowest in the area: My 2br/2ba 1176 sqft unit is $2855/month on a yearly lease basis with no enormous buy-in expense. You will find cost is at least $2000/month lower than anywhere comparable. Similar cost savings are available on all size units. The food is beyond comparison. Their chef, has19 years experience at a major Las Vegas hotel. Each dinner meal is fixed from scratch and it is like eating at a four-star restaurant. There is an NCH hospital emergency facility located right next door. So medical assistance is within sight. Also, the sheriff's office is located a mile away which is an added deterrent in an already extremely low crime area. Many senior living facilities there is a pall over the atmosphere, and you cannot wait to leave. Not Diamond Oaks Springs. They have decorated the entire facility in an upscale fashion. The staff have been to train to treat all residents and visitors as guest. There are always fun activities if you choose to participate in them. I have met no residents who were not happy with their surroundings. And you look forward to the meals. It is truly an enjoyable dining experience and each time the menu changes there are new exciting culinary entrees to choose from. Other features that I appreciate are the maintenance dept lives on site. I had two small issues, and maintenance responded within a few minutes and the issues were resolved. A really important consideration is you do not have to evacuate during a hurricane. Which is unusual for Lee County, which has mandatory evacuation for most senior living facilities. I believe the reason for the exception for Diamond Oaks is that it new up to code construction, no ground floor units and it is on the same electrical grid as the hospital. Electricity has never been out for more than a few hours. At the last facility I was at it was mandatory evacuation during Irma and the cost was $800 or $200/day to stay at a local hotel. It is rare for an equinox of reasonable cost and outstanding food and services to happen in the senior living industry, but it has at Diamond Oaks Village. All the senior living facilities owned and operated by Discovery Corporation are given extremely high ratings by the Wall Street Journal. They are considered a premier company in this industry. The owner of our previous, very long term, A/C company recently passed away and I didn't have much faith that replacing such an honest and trustworthy man was ever going to be possible. Thanks to many glowing reviews I decided to call Elisa and Rob at REEE Cooling for an estimate to repair our 17 year old pool heat pump. Rob arrived at our SE Cape home exactly on time and was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. After a lengthy diagnosis Rob determined that a couple of components had failed and I offered to try to track them down. One crucial part was no longer available but, to my amazement, Rob offered to custom build it. Who does that anymore? A few weeks later, with temperatures in the 90s, our attic A/C unit quit but Rob somehow squeezed us into his busy schedule and arrived a few hours later, diagnosed the problem, drove to Ft. Myers for the parts and returned to complete the repair. Less than a week later, naturally on a steamy Sunday afternoon, our outside condenser/compessor failed. Rob answered my call quickly, arrived within 45 minutes, and on Monday the repair was completed - for a very fair price. From start to finish Elisa and Rob have been incredibly responsive via phone, text or e-mail seven days a week. Rob is incredibly committed to customer service, fully explains what does, and doesn't, need to be repaired and, above all, a truly honest businessman. At every opportunity Elisa and Rob never failed to impress with their capacity to go above and beyond my expectations.
