In fact, it was with help from my local agent that I became concerned about the policy issued through Janelle Tessier's office with Monica as the go-to there. When it was determined that the policy issued would not be honored and not valid, Monica tried to pin the problem on me. Despite her mistakes and lack of collecting what I found out was needed information, she tried to pass this on me but then quickly wanted me to know that she could help write other policies for my parents. This office was more concerned with securing other business despite the stressful and uninsured situation that they created with their lack of attention, knowledge, and care to the existing client. With so many agents in cities, I would avoid this agent's office.

One of their marketing partners was breached and now my social security #, full name and date of birth are now in the hands of a hacker. You know what information you need to authenticate to your account at Pelican? Last 4 of social, date of birth and a 6 digit account number. My account number has 4 zeros in it, making it as secure as "Password123". Their "additional verification" are your address and/or full name, one of which was given out and the other is public info. You cannot opt-out of these programs and Pelican will not allow you to lock your account with a pin. Just understand, that with Pelican, their profits greatly outweigh any obligation to customers. Choose any other CU, because Pelican is an anti-consumer clown show.

The people at Scott Johnson's office are never available to answer the phone. You know how it is....you only call your insurance agent when you need something or there's an emergency. The last thing you want to hear is a voicemail when you call and you've just been in an automobile accident. Scott Johnson has been my agent for at least two years now, and I have nothing but complaints. Their saving grace is a woman who works there called Angel (if you can get her). read more
