He put his son Michael in charge of my case.Without getting into tremendous detail I remember the phone call I received from Michael that he just got out of court .they didn't except any of my receipts .so we owe ex amount of money .I remember stating over and over what do you mean they didn't accept the hundred boxes of receipts showing that I paid use tax? this makes absolutely no sense.! I remember it like it was yesterday. Michael kept saying they wouldn't except it. then simply hung the phone up. Basically, I had a contract with HOME Expo, stating they charge sales tax . So of course I'm not paying use tax ,if they're charging sales tax . New York State is receiving all that money on the final price . I never dealt with any customers ,I never collected one penny. never even discussed price with the customer .New York State came after me for use tax. We had all the proof that they receive sales tax on the final price of the shower door which is either a repair or a capital improvement. If it is a capital improvement, HOME expo Depot contract would've stated that and they would've sent me a capital improvement form. But no, their contract stated they charged sales tax on the final price..I never dealt with the public, and I never collected one penny.. New York State received a lot of tax money on all those sales.This should've been a pretty easy case. But at the end of the day it all fell on me.my sick mother that lived with me, I had to find somewhere for her to live. I lost my house, my business, my wife, everything. I've been paying now for over 20 years for something I know is wrong .I wake up every morning knowing this is wrong . I think about it 24 hours a day seven days a week nonstop even after 20 years .but I was represented correctly by Stuart Buxbaum. It can't be.. until just today when I read these reviews. something I thought all along has just become true that I wasn't represented correctly. When you come from nothing, and you put your heart and soul into building a business and you buy your first house,and you are taking care of your sick mother and helping your family out because you're the backbone of the family and then this happens . after all these years of hard work and have it taking away from you .you could never explain this to some of your friends and family. The look at people and friends face when I tell them they're still taking money out of my check that's why I'm staying in my truck camper.The reply is that still going on? I was a happy positive motivated man. I've never been the same after this happened to me. I've never been the same man again. now reading this it just ripped my insides out, knowing what I felt in my heart, and all my family and friends said this isn't right was true !I took kids off the street and gave them a trade with my glass company .I even hired someone out of prison to give him a Headstart in life and taught him a trade .This man to this day still calls me boss when he calls me. If he only knew I was living inside of a truck camper. my 14-year-old daughter who is is doing great in school she's an A+ student can no longer come visit me and stay in a camper with her father. It's embarrassing. knowing my daughter's future depends on me, I contacted New York State to find out they're not gonna stop taking the money out of my check after the 20 year mark .I'd have to hire a lawyer another 5000 that I don't have to stop them taking the money out. so with everything I just read and the horrible experience I went through and it destroyed my life. A man that came from a family background that was on welfare. a man that is so severely dyslexic couldn't graduate school finally built his life up where he had a house with a tennis court and a built-in pool but only to destroy simply because I hired the wrong man to represent me and now I live in a truck camper at 60 years old. I recommend hire someone else.. do your research. Make sure you know what you're getting.. do not allow anyone to destroy your life like I did please learn from my mistake. search for someone that's going to represent you correctly. That picks the phone up and cares about what you're going through.! please Im beg you do not allow this to destroy your life because it will. every word is 100% true and there's so much more. I hope this helps at least one person. I tried contacting Michael on more than one occasion, but no return calls or emails.
