I have had the pleasure of working with him on my personal and business taxes for almost 8 years now and he always surprises me with his level of detail in doing whatever is necessary to assist me with my taxes. My husband and I sometimes "forget" what he tells us to do and he of course has to fix it at tax time. Consistently, like perfect clockwork...he sifts through my attempt at collecting what he needs and during my 1 hour visit, he gives me an idea of what I am getting as a refund or owe. In most cases, it is a refund...like I said...he's superman! Aside for being one of the smartest and kind guys you could know, he's a loving family man and his pride and love for his family always shines through at every annual visit. I truly stand in awe of this gentleman...not only for his great numbers skills but as a truly good person. He's one of the good guys! I hope this review makes up for all the years of him shaking his head at me saying, "Kimi....we did discuss this last year!" ...and me saying, "Ohhhh, your right...I forgot!" I know I'm not the only one who drives him crazy at tax time but I know, year after year that I'm being represented by a truly honest person and that's worth the long drive to get to him. This girl can sleep at night knowing Greg is on the job! I originally lived 30 min from his main office then moved 2 hrs away and still drove there. To whomever may be reading this review,…read more I only write reviews if an experience has left me thoroughly impressed or disappointed. Unfortunately, in this case, it was the latter. As I was preparing to write this review, I actually saw another one star review from someone else. It was posted a month before mine and they had the exact same experience as me. Abysmally poor communication, long wait times, missed deadlines and shocking unprofessional behavior. Upon hiring this company, we were told the process would take 2-3 weeks maximum. It took 5 weeks. During this process, we would routinely receive requests for information via an email in the morning. We would always reply immediately. However, we would not receive a response for 24-48 hours. Oftentimes, we would send them information only to have them ask us for the same information again. Also, no one answers the phone. I would have to call 8-12 times, on average, before someone picked up the phone. Most of the time, as I was calling, our account manager Jeffrey would text and tell me that he would call me back. Which means that he and whoever was present in the office knew I was calling and simply ignored my calls. After missing a promised deadline by a week, I asked our account manager Jeffrey for a telephone conversation more than half a dozen times. He blatantly ignored my requests and I have the text messages to prove it. After the missed deadlines, the horrible communication, and the unprofessional behavior from Jeffrey, I wanted to speak to someone in charge. I called, and called and called and called some more. Until finally, after another dozen calls, Katie picks up. I tell her that I want to speak with Jeffrey's supervisor directly. She tells me that his name is Marc and he is the owner. She then refuses to give me any of his contact information. Only after a second conversation with her and after asking if she thought denying a paying customer an avenue to air their grievances was a good business practice, did she finally give me his email. I immediately emailed Marc who replied that he would "investigate" my complaints and follow up to set up a phone call with me. He sent me an email three days later which basically excused his employee's behavior. And, of course, he did not set up a phone call with me. Do not use this company. TLDR: Do not use this company
