We also conclude that respondent has violated 22 NYCRR 1400.3 by failing to execute a written retainer agreement in a domestic relations matter that provides for, inter alia, itemized billing statements to be sent to the client at least every 60 days. In determining an appropriate sanction, we have considered respondent's submissions in mitigation, including his statement that he has reduced his case load and has hired a legal secretary to assist with law office scheduling, billing, and communications with clients. We have also considered, however, certain factors in aggravation of the misconduct, including that charge one arises from a lengthy course of conduct intended to deceive a tribunal and that charge two concerns respondent's severe neglect of a client matter that resulted in substantial harm to the client. He kept rescheduling my case like I didn't need the support money. And give him copies of your paperwork !!!! Never an original. If you have paid a retainer or any other fees to Mr. Micho for legal services that were not completed, you should file a complaint with the appropriate Attorney Grievance Committee in your Judicial District. I, like many others have paid Mr. Micho and received nothing in return. read more

Only hire this attorney if you want no response to emails and calls. He was hired in April of 2018, it is now January 8th 2019 and has had no movement in the case. He was hired to do a simple divorce. They have no kids and no property. He would never return calls or respond to emails. He has lied several times to this client saying the divorce would be complete. He overcharged and took the money but did not complete his job. The client has lost money and now has to find another attorney. read more
