It was time for me to update my profile picture on our company's internal connection site. I absolutely hate taking pics of myself or being in pictures, so even the research of finding a photographer was exhausting for me. I came across Scott Photography and really liked the examples that I saw. So, I made an appointment. I was prepped really well for the photo shoot via phone and email communications. On the day of the photo shoot, I was apologetically late, and thank goodness the photographer was so kind, calming and professional that the photo shoot went great and ended on time. Having completed an exhaustive online search for a professional photographer through which to have some headshots taken, my efforts paid off as my visit to Scott Photography studio ended up being an extremely enjoyable experience! Louis was congenial, professional, welcoming and exceptionally knowledgeable in his craft which I appreciated immensely! He answered all of my questions and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that my session was a productive one, generating a multitude of photos for me to view immediately and make adjustments on the spot! I had a wonderful experience with Louis. He was ready for me, even though I arrived early. The makeup girl he uses is excellent! She stayed until he was well into the photo session to touch up any spots the camera saw! I am a new realtor and needed a picture for my cards. I had never had a head shot session before this one. I honestly could not have had a better experience! He had some little tricks that he used to make my picture completely amazing!! This is a San Antonio based photographer that travels to surrounding areas. He came to Austin to do a family session for my family of 4.5 (I am 8 months pregnant). He was patient with the kids and took as much time as needed to capture them in their natural element, without all the cheesy posing. My son has Autism and is VERY hard to photograph. However, within our our session, he captured SEVERAL amazing shots of him and his sister. read more
