First things first I need to start off this review with an apology because this is so long overdue already. For me, Steve is the best photographer and videographer. He was the one who did my son's 1st birthday pictorial(cake smashing photo session) and video coverage for the actual birthday party. Steve and his wife was very fun and easy to work with. they were very patient with my son but they were able to capture wonderful and quality shots in a really short amount of time. Steve and his wife were wonderful and made us feel so comfortable during our photoshoot. Steve picked wonderful backdrops and helped take photos that avoided showing how crowded it was along the beaches of Waikiki (as it always is), and our photos came out amazing! We were very happy with the photos, and he sent them over quickly. Steve even helped retouch a few photos afterwards where I had some requests, and he was more than happy to accommodate. Stephen did a wonderful job on an ad video for a drama class at our church. He was very efficient, in a few short takes we were done, and the finished product was so professional. Stephen is also very knowledgable of how people receive videos. When we were trying to pick a song as a background track he mentioned that he would find a song that sounded good but not too good, so that people will remember our video for what it's about rather than "wow, that video had great music." He was able to cut the video together to our 1:30 time limit but still make it coherent and have all the info we needed to include. All around fantastic guy and great videographer/editor. He posted a recording of my husband's military service. He knew that it was to be private, from the beginning. He knew from the National Cemetery it was to be private. He sent the site to the National cemetery, and Steve...I do not have a You tube Site., like you! And I am certain the director of the National Cemetery is not telling a story like you stated. "that the only way it would of been, that I had to of shared it!" That's your excuse for sharing something that was private for a soldier(my husband). You know I would of never shared that.Use your integrity, and do not share anymore funerals from the military that have lost so many, when you are asked not to! It was not a wedding, Prom, Family Reunion, or family gathering. Know when to use your professionalism to not share a PRIVATE service and of a widow..grieving. Your videos that you share are of weddings, family reunions, graduations, and if somebody wanted it shared! Forensic Technology, that I have hired tells it all. You overcharged..just to put the 3rd, which YOU left out, and told me, "don't worry, I'll just take care of it!" But then later, it cost me an extra 75.00 to just put 3 iii(roman numerals)! Have you forgot what you put in private messages? And then you put..the only way it would of been shared is that I must of done it! I am quite certain that National Cemetery will not use you again ! again, YOU DISRESPECTED MY HUSBAND'S SERVICE, INTEGRITY AND HE BEING A VETERAN! You shared it...Too many called me to let me know...the military will not lie for you! YOU gave the site within 2 days to others..they will not lie for you! That National Cemetery was well informed as you were, that it was to be private.The military funerals are not usually shown for a gain for professionalism! Keep it real! Steve Fanning on your site, you show yourself speaki ng on your father's behalf (of the only funeral, I must say) you have on your site, but you do not share the graveside or a grieving widow, along with a person that has passed, but was quite tearful in private pics. My grandchildren should of never been shared in pics, that were in the slideshow following the military service. And you did do other actions to make a sale off of a military service! All soldiers and grieving widows will stick together on this one.. I do not suggest using him. And to anyone that saw this review..should know what a private service is, and should of respected a loved ones' requests, especially when everyone knew this precious person's history. My loved one did not want his family member's ever to be at graveside, when they were not present when he was alive, and knew what heartache his parent(mother) and step parents brought to him as a child. Like he said, "tell them a month after I am gone!" And, "Don't come dancing on my grave, when I am gone!" And these words are documented from a well rounded man! So to all of you that see this...and know of my loved one's childhood and how he was kidnapped(as well as this videographer knew), I think you should use your integrity and respect a person's last wishes...which was very clear legally. Everyone has family dynamics..but coming out of the woodwork 20 years later, and I have never met some of them...is a joke. This videographer knew my loved one's history..And again, I am quite certain this chapel or cemetery will never use you...EVER! So save on your business cards from handing them to chapels. Again ridiculous....widows, and veterans stick together. And as far as a situation whereas there is sadness to be recorded, I do not recommend this type of low integrity, incompetency and uncompassionate person to have business with.... My husband knew I would fulfill his request and I did just that! And thank you to all that called me and let me know about this person trying to make a buck off of showing it! Disgusted with all that could ever agree with this. It is against the law to break a privacy act with the client(when it well understood) as well as showing and advertising a burial with the military.. Disgusted with this business person....And I know who you tried to make a sale... I will not back down from your sale off of this...Like I said, also everyone knew my loved one's pain growing up. My loved one made his life on his own, and it was a very successful one, without any help from people that call themselves parents! I do not care who reviews this..and if you are the one that hurt my husband as a child, and believe you could of ever stopped my loved one's last requests...your quite wrong, for my loved one made me stronger than that! read more
