My car sat on their lot for three days with no updates. When they finally called, I paid nearly $1,000 and went to pick it up--only to realize they had left my doors unlocked the entire time. Because of that negligence, someone went into my car and stole everything inside. To make matters worse, I was told that none of the cameras on their lot were working, which is unacceptable for a business that keeps customers' vehicles overnight. After everything that happened, they only reimbursed me $40, which doesn't even begin to cover what was taken or the stress caused. Since then, I've spoken with several people around town and learned that this isn't an isolated incident. Hearing that others have had similar issues with care and security only makes this situation more frustrating. To top it all off, my check engine light came back on just one week after the inspection, which seriously makes me question the quality and reliability of the work performed. I paid expecting professionalism, security, and accountability--and received the opposite. This business showed a complete lack of responsibility when it came to customer property. We took our Ford to The Master Mechanics after having issues getting it to start. Within 24 hours the car stalled out and we struggled to get it started yet again. Upon calling the garage they said "bring it back right away and we'll take care of it". We brought it back for them to charge us an additional 100 dollars to tell us "sorry it's the transmission and we can't do anything about it". It was never the battery to begin with, but they didn't have an issue taking our money (over 600) for fixing something that was never the issue. Be cautious. We would not recommend.

Brought my car in today for an inspection (less than 90K mileage). Car was never put on a lift…read more Ten minutes later, I was told it failed inspection and needs a $650 control arms front end repair. I paid for the "inspection" but sat in the front waiting area, packing up work items I'd brought in with me to do while waiting. Two other customers after me were called to the front counter, and both were told their cars failed inspections due to the exact same problem as my car allegedly has. None of our cars was put on a lift. Never underestimate the public's observations and intelligence: this place is a con artist's wet dream. PS POSTED ON 08-07-26: Took my car to a reputable Waynesboro tire/inspection business today.
