They have other flowers you can cut and I should have explored past the zinnias but I plan to explore a bit more when I go back. I'm a fan of Scott's Farm when we go and pick apples in the fall...so I love that I've discovered some of their farm stands on my travels in the area. The staff was helpful and friendly when I asked for the run down on how the pick your own worked. It's $9.99 a lb for the flowers and I had a good amount of flowers and ended up having less than a lb which was cool but then I wanted to go pick more haha.

Carson served me as I chose a few different cheese, bread and meat items with tastes along the way. I also met Christine who is the shop owner and had a great exchange with her. The store was well stocked with specialty foods, gift items and lots of holiday paper napkins. I went in for cheese knives and found a nice selection to choose from. You can read my review of Bubba's Brunch food truck in my review section because the food was delicious. Hindinger Farm sells fresh vegetables, fruits, jams, and other items for children, and it has a beautiful backdrop. One side of the farm overlooks the other side of the farm and the other side of the farmi overlooks this beautiful backdrop of nature on the farm. Hindubger Farms puts on live shows, and you can go shopping. There is also a playground for the kids to play. The playground is fenced in with a picnic area so parents can enjoy their food without worrying about their children's safety. You can always check their website for events, shopping, and find out which food truck will be at the farm that day. The customer service was great, and I will definitely be back.

Of all the sites we visited, this was the stand out. The fruits and vegetables are incredible... literally picture-perfect and bursting with flavor. In addition, the stand has lots of homemade products like mango salsa, horseradish mustard, and the like. These specialty items are delicious! Oh, and don't forget to pick up some of their homemade preserves. My husband and I practically overdosed on peach preserves! There is a beautiful outdoor area where kids can play, which also makes the stand a nice destination for families. Last but not least, the staff that works here is so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them.

Yes, the view from the farm stand towards Orient Harbor is the best view on the North Fork. But the reality is... it was once a better farm stand, where locals could get pints of fresh berries and tomatoes for cheap. The parking lot was once filled with banged up pick up trucks and Ford and GM sedans. Maybe a Subaru. Now the parking lot is full of Teslas and Rivian pick ups. Not to mention a late model Maserati and vintage Porsche here and there. Vrooooom. And the fresh berries are expensive... Farm stands nowadays are more like Delis. Latham sells a lot of local produce...including their excellent local Oysters! Their corn is the best on the North Fork. But they also sell a lot of veggies and fruits from New Jersey and further. I always ask where the produce is from before whipping out my billfold. They take Venmo for those who don't know what a billfold is. I will always go there for my produce. Because having this version of Latham is better than not having any Latham.
