He found evidence of termites... lots of them. I was able to have the sellers repair the damaged wood (support beam and sill wall) and treat the house. This saved us a lot of money since we were able to negotiate the sellers into paying for it. Its been a year since the house was treated and we had him come back for a re-inspection under his recommendation. This time the weather was horrendous - very icy. I thought he'd be calling me to reschedule but nope, he was there at 8am, ON TIME! We even live outside of his normal service area! The house was still free of termites (good) but he found evidence of mice and cockroaches (bad). He treated for both for a very reasonable price and I trust that both problems will be cleared up shortly (phew). Tom is very personable and trustworthy. He answers your questions and explains things as he's going along. He is great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone.

More importantly, after the inspection he advised that no termite mitigation should take place on my property. He didn't charge for the evaluation. I can guarantee that had this been any of the big chain companies they would have been recommending sprays, bait stations, the works, all to make a buck. So while Tom has a well deserved reputation for what he does, what I value most about him is his honesty - something in short supply these days. I recommend him highly.

When the technician came out, he told me there was absolutely no way the smell was urine and he saw no signs of mice. I called another company who immediately found an area of dried mouse urine and feces and rectified the issue. When I explained this to enviro care, and that I was deeply unhappy with services rendered and would not be paying for the tech coming out and placing a few mouse traps and giving false information without investigating further, a woman named Amanda told me I had to go to court to dispute this. I asked Amanda if there was someone higher up in the company who could help me and she informed me that she was one of the owners of the company. I asked if I could speak to a different owner and she very aggressively told me no, I have to go to court, and hung up on me while I was talking. When I called back, I was told Amanda is nothing more than a customer service representative. Not only did the technician let me down, a customer service representative told me she was a boss of the company and that I had to go to court rather than put me through to someone who could help me. I'm a business owner myself and can't imagine standing by employees like this.
