Employment is horrible. Believe what you'd like but communication was never good, in fact it atrocious. I was treated like less because I wasn't a family member. Many inappropriate things happened without proper investigation and employees were allowed to arrive late and do no shows. I'm not here to shame them just speak the truth. I have employees that can and will control this but won't speak because they're being hushed and are related to company employees / management. The services may be great but non of you understand what the employees go through. Especially janitors. Underpaid, mistreated by a manager who took things personal, and never followed proper professional procedures for employees and fired me less than a week after coming back from an injury he assumed I was faking. Working for them for 3 years was horrible. They play favorites. I never was valued at all. My supervisor cared more than the VP of my department. I worked two jobs and still arrived on time to do my job everyday but was criticized for other people's mistakes. This company works their employees like robots and if you say anything you get fired, but if your family you can always come back like nothing happened. They could improve by having meetings with employees about problems instead of just terminating because someone gets emotional about an employee. I was informed by many employees about how they treat their employees and I didn't believe until working there myself. Pay is never worth when you they care more about the contract over the employees that come in everyday to maintain that contract. It's the truth. They did not try to make a meeting as said in documentation fire termination. But if it's a family member like some I knew they came back less than a year. read more

ScrubCan is a "family owned company" yea and that's all they care about is family. If you get a janitorial position with them don't think about being valued or treated equally all they care about is family. As long as you are family or are dating family you will be able to show up to work as late as you want or miss work whenever you want without an explanation. Not to mention the pay $16.50 for part time and half of the time you don't even meet the hours you're supposed to because they don't give them to you. So if you're looking for a dead end job this is for you and don't expect to get a pay increase or to be treated far like any other job would cause like I said all they care about is family. read more

Well, it is very uncommon for a good or in this case a very good idea that comes along. This is a disposable income service that should do well providing that the numbers work out. In the case of the Fresno Scrub Can, they may have a difficult time getting the nubmers to work. Good luck getting a person to answer their phone, getting a call back and when the equipment is broke down, they were unable to keep their re-schedule appointments. Thats right, appointments plural. Angel is the person whom I communicated with, poor poor representation for the company. I can only hope he is not the owner. My address is the 3133 E. in Clovis. That is the first letter of the street. In closing, I presently own four successful service businesses in Fresno/Clovis and employ just over 60 people. If these folks can't get right, I may get in the Trash Can cleaning business. Best of Luck. read more

They never come out and clean your trash cans you have to call them and remind them to come out and clean then and they money isn't worth it

If your trashcans smell and need a good cleaning try out this place. I saw a news clip about them last year and have seen the trucks driving around. I decided to try them out. My trash cans smell much better. You can have them come quarterly ($29.95), semi annually ($39.95) or annually ($49.95). I don't need them done often so I just did the yearly one. You leave your trashcans out on trash day and they will clean them by the end of the day. They do steam pressure washing. They also do Driveways, buildings, patios and just about anything else. Concept is great. The actual cleaning of the cans is great. However whomever manages the scheduling of service leaves a bit to be desired. This last time the cleaning of one can was done a week later. No one brought it to my attention...I had to bring it to theirs. Communication is poor. Phone calls are not answered. You have to wait for a callback. Text messages are concluded when the company rep. decides. I still want the service; but, if the other poster offers competition, I might try out another company. read more
