I took some time to really consider whether or not I wanted to write this review. Andrew, the owner, was very eager and motivated to earn my fiancé's and my business. He initially quoted us $950 for a "deep cleaning" plus carpet cleaning, then later texted and lowered the price to $750. The job was to deep clean a newly purchased home that we were moving into. The house had not been lived in for about 8 months, but it was fairly clean since it had been actively shown. It was not dirty. The entire reason for hiring a deep cleaning service was so I would not have to worry about cleaning ANYTHING before moving in. Andrew arrived with 2-3 other cleaners to clean an almost 2,000 sq ft home and finished in approximately 3-4 hours, including carpet cleaning. In hindsight, that should have been a red flag. During the walkthrough, we pointed out several things that were missed such as dead bugs inside window tracks, dust above cabinets, stair railings and banisters, and cobwebs. Andrew addressed those items on the spot without any issue. However, once we started moving in and unpacking, we quickly realized how much had actually been missed. We were told that a "deep clean" meant EVERYTHING. IT WAS INDEED NOT. The entryway was untouched and full of dust. The master bathroom window and window sills were not cleaned. The master closet shelves were filthy and clearly never wiped down. The storage drawer beneath the stove was disgusting. I used multiple Clorox wipes just to get it clean. Under the bathroom sink was sticky from the previous owner and had not been cleaned at all. None of the tubs even appeared to have been cleaned. My fiancé reached out to Andrew, and he offered to come back two days later. By that point, even more missed areas had surfaced. I ended up cleaning everything myself, which completely defeated the purpose of paying $750 for a deep clean. I couldn't delay unpacking or bathing children just to wait for another visit. My fiancé contacted Andrew again regarding the additional issues, and he issued a partial refund of $250 via Apple Pay. I chose this company because the majority of Yelp reviews were very positive. I did notice some negative reviews but assumed they were outliers. Unfortunately, our experience aligned more with those. This review is not about Andrew personally. He was polite, positive, and had a great attitude. This is about the lack of a true DEEP CLEANING. Overall, I am deeply disappointed that we chose to go with this company. read more

We just bought a house in Visalia where the animal smell was masked by some very expensive candles (previous owner). When we moved in, and the candles were gone, we were blown away by some of the bedrooms smelling like cat pee, and the linger of the vanilla candle. Needed a deep clean ASAP. A&G answered the call 2 days after I reached out to them and did a great job on the deep clean. Shampooed carpets, cleaned the walls, and all of the normal stuff. I really appreciated the attention to detail. The animal smell clearly permeated the original laminate floor but they put all of their effort into reducing it. When I got home from work, there was noticeable change in the smell, and it was very nice coming home to a perfect cleaned home. Also, they were very timely. I am VERY impressed with Andrew. Unfortunately, he had bad news for me because the person who had come the night before to clean my new to me but thrift shopped sofa, steam sanitized it but the sofa is leather and if you get leather wet, it becomes hard and rough to the touch. So now what was very soft leather is not only rough and hard, but it also completely darkened it so it's not the soft sage green it was when I bought it, but now it's dark green. So that's my sad story, so more about Andrew. He not only explained every bit of this in detail to me so that I could clearly understand it, but he also used leather cleaner on it to actually clean it. That didn't do anything to make it softer at all, but at least now it is clean and sanitized. He was here about a half hour to 45 minutes and did that for me, and then did not charge me anything. So that was his time, his expertise, his driving here from Turlock, and the labor, and this man did not charge me a cent. This type of kindness and decency is practically unheard of in this day and age, so I want to make sure that everybody knows what kind of person they're hiring when they hire Andrew from A&G. read more

I came across Andrew's business while looking for someone to deep clean my mother's house. It was in dire need and needed some deep carpet cleaning in areas where there were pets. Andrew was very responsive and honest. He updated me throughout the day with his progress. He was able to get stains and smells out of the carpets that I didn't think was possible. He pays attention to detail. He was even able to get out the hard water stains and on appliances and surfaces. His prices are very reasonable. I asked for a deep clean. We were moving into a new house. I wanted it to be cleaned before we moved in. I was told a deep clean would be from ceilings to floor. One of the reasons I chose them was because they offered carpet shampooing. The quote was $800 for the deep cleaning. My husband was here and they told him they'd clean the windows inside and out for an extra $150, even though that had been in the original quote. We paid in total $950. When I went to the new house to start moving in this is what I found. I'm not sure what I paid for exactly. Owner said they'd make it right. He was one of the cleaners- not sure if he is the quality control how he can make it right. Asked for at least a partial refund- he gave me $150. I don't want all of the $$ back, they did work but did not deliver on any type of deep cleaning. I don't see any evidence they shampooed the carpets, or even really vaccumed the carpets. Was definitely not worth the money, at all. I would not recommend this company ever to anyone. - What sucks about his response.. I denied his request because he, as the owner was here cleaning. If his idea of clean is this, why would I want him or his crew to come back? If you see the bag of dirt and hair from just the carpets- you'll see that his shampooing of the carpets didn't happen and I don't know what he constitutes as vacuuming- what he did do shouldn't be considered vacuuming. Wish you luck with your business but like I said-- will never recommend because this was one of the worst "cleaning" jobs. Like they say- should of just done it myself.
