I received my order and it was ONLY the top. The price was not listed as "top, $40." I had NO idea I was only ordering the top and paying that much for half a set of scrubs. It should be obvious to the customer what they're ordering. Two stars because it looks like a nice top. But overpriced and now I still need to spend more money and wait to receive the bottom half of what normally comes as a set. What are scrubs without the bottom? I've ordered twice online and both experience was the same. First time, I asked them to cancel because I had been waiting over two weeks for my items to ship. So I bought other scrubs online. Plus I got my items in less than a week. This time, I've asked to cancel my order due to wrong size on one of the item. The representative actually suggested I should cancel so I can reorder the right size. They said they will reach out to their warehouse team to cancel the order. It's been over two weeks and no response from the warehouse team? Then when I asked for an update, they said they could no longer cancel the order as it's ready to ship out. Ok fine but still had not received a shipping confirmation. Regardless of the situation, I would still be waiting for my order. Their website did not mention that any items was on back order. They even have on their website that shipping will only take 4-5 business days. I'm unhappy with their service/process and I don't recommend buying online. I placed an order, which didn't show up for over a month; I went on their website and saw no order history whatsoever of the order I thought I placed; assumed there was some kind of glitch where the order didnt go thru. I placed a second order, which eventually came a month later. Two weeks after that, the first order that there is no record of shows up. Both coats were a large, but the second one that showed up is like 4 inches shorter than the other one. Tried calling them to rectify, and they refuse to credit for the first one that there is still no record of in my order history, took 8 weeks to deliver, and is the wrong size. I see so many negative reviews for S&B, and before my encounter with Ms. Pat, maybe my thoughts were not as positive. I would say I am a fairly regular customer now. I hate shopping, but when I come in, Ms. Pat recommends items that are on sale, fit well, or are the newest fashion (jumper, arm sleeves). She actually helps me to locate my size, which is a game-changer for me. Again, I am not a shopper, so if you want me to buy, you have to help, and SHE DOES it with a smile and warmth. If I had looked this place up on Yelp before going I would not have gone based on these reviews alone. I took a chance and went solely based on them having a huge selection in Houston. I was greeted by a tall nice gentleman who directed me to exactly what I came in for. I didn't catch his name. Laura is the store associate that sealed the deal for me. She was extremely kind, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable in the different scrub types. As someone who has been in the medical field for the majority of my life, I am not new to purchasing hospital attire. This was, however, my first time at the Scrubs and Beyond location on Fannin Street. When I walked in I was immediately pleasantly greeted by an associate (Laquonita). I told her what I was interested in that day and she helped me find what I was looking for. She also showed me the latest items that had just come in and provided a demonstration of the waterproof scrubs (I ended up getting a pair!). She was helpful, courteous, and pleasant. I will definitely come back here again, and I recommend coming to this location if you're looking for a wide variety of medical attire. I recently ordered from this company. After the fact- the day after- read the reviews and out of concern for what I needed- chanced calling Customer Service and was kindly greeted. Explained that after I read the complaints about shipping and things being in stock, the delays.. the representative understood my concerns. I know that sometimes people just complain, are never pleased, but the consistency was a real concern. The rep took the time to confirm that what I needed was in stock and that I would receive an email when it was shipped. Later that same day (the day after order was placed) I received that email, and 2 days later it was delivered. While it's obvious that there was time when there was an issue with fulfillment at some point for a while- or frustration with communication and poor quality customer service; it was not what I experienced, and I will be ordering again. Should you be discouraged by the reviews beforehand, call customer service and ask if things are in stock or answer questions you might have. I have ordered from S&B for years. I ordered a new brand and the top was too large. The back of the packing slip clearly outlines a process for free exchanges of different sizes or colors. The only option on the website is to refund your purchase and pay $5 to mail it back. Customer service agent said "our policy hasn't been updated on the packing slips. We only offer in-store exchanges." Lost $5 but I returned the entire purchase. I will order from Amazon or find a local retailer. Then, when I went to checkout they wanted over $550 for shipping (to Canada) as well as another $600 for duty and taxes and BS. I asked them on chat if this could possibly be accurate and got sent a copy-and-pasted, generic policy on them using a third party shipping agent and they didn't address any of the questions I asked.
