However, I cannot as they never showed for the appointment I made to have my carpets cleaned. I'm frustrated enough with how apartment leasing works in Iowa City; typically carpet cleaning falls on the apartment complex. So wasting two hours waiting on a service that I never received is infuriating. I scheduled service for the last free day I will have this summer and so now I'll have to displace another appointment to supervise the service. Steve with Premier Cleaning of Iowa City may not find two hours valuable, but I do. A phone call to advise of lateness or to attempt rescheduling would have been acceptable, if a little disappointing. In the least, answering the phone or returning the voice mail messages I left (an hour after the scheduled appointment) would have shown some concern for the situation. In the end, I got neither of these showing that Premier Cleaning of Iowa City has a complete lack of professionalism. I cannot recommend Premier Cleaning of Iowa City to anyone for any purpose. Based on other reviews, they are very good... when they show up. However, based on my own experience, they may not show up at all.

They provided us with a very reasonable price and even took time to answer our 7 year old's questions. After having our carpets cleaned, our property manager said they looked great, but our tenants had a concern about leftover pet hair. We emailed Premiere Cleaning and asked if they could return to our property and address our tenants' concern. They did so and addressed our tenants' concern promptly and politely. We are definitely going to stick with this company; they're fantastic!

Some harsh weather over the past couple of years also caused numerous trees to break, fall, or weaken. Jonny is an excellent communicator, and laid out a multi-phase process to restore the forest so that we can start to develop the next generation of trees and maintain a mature forest. Vines were cleared first, followed by felling dead/dying trees, then final clearing so that material taken down can decompose naturally in the forest. He always checked in as he and his team progressed on the job, making sure they were hitting the targets we wanted without getting too far (to a point of no return). They were courteous, kind, and thoughtful about their approach. They also were able to complete the job within a few weeks, allowing us a chance to get a head start on planting already this season. We also benefited from their services to shape a couple of trees in our front yard that were due for a trimming. We will most definitely go back to them for any tree needs.

Long story short, do business with this company. I have had them clean a duplex that I rent and every time I hire them to clean between tenants they amaze me. This most recent cleaning was the most drastic. Not only did they squeeze me in after hours for a quick turnaround, they made this place look new. There were things I thought I would certainly have to replace to get them to look clean again and Scrubs made them look new again. I'm impressed. You won't be disappointed. read more

I didn't even end up using this company because Malinda's customer service was awful. She came recommended from someone I respect but after having to continually follow up with her about providing a quote for the work, then once she finally showed up to look at the townhouse she was extremely rude to my tenant and then rude to me when I inquired about the quote. read more
