The class is byob, the assistant is always very attentive and keeps you comfortable. The class seems intimidating but, honestly once you start you won't want to stop. The instructor is always there to help and correct anything that you may not be happy with. This is a great time to hangout with friends and take home something that you can hang on your wall.

The online course offers hours of detailed video direction. The videos are high-quality and give great depth and detail into instruction. I am about halfway through the course and I absolutely love it. David the instructor is extremely detail oriented. I came back with my adult daughter for a fused art class, and Evelina welcomed everyone with wine and appetizers and an explanation of how to make art. There were bins of colored glass in many shapes and sizes to play with. She spent extra time with my daughter who was having trouble letting her creative side out. He is heavily involved in the Chicago and Oak Park art communities. He brings new artists into the space frequently inviting all different types of art - sculpture, resin, acrylic - anything. There are shows to attend, both solo and collective shows and you can visit the gallery with an appointment. The artists are incredible, each has a unique view and are usually available for lively discussions. There is even a chocolatier that attends and has product for sale - try the bourbon chocolate, it's amazing. Included at the events: beer and wine. It makes for a really nice evening out. The gallery is close to other galleries and several restaurants, the location is perfect to bring a group and hang out.
