Today's breakfast was great as usual and the portions are well sized and attractively priced; especially considering the location. In the summer the location has a great outside terrace with ample seating on lounge chairs, benches and deckchairs. For dinner their steaks are great; grilled on a charcoal grill and served on a wooden plank. Beer and wine selection is good. Prices are moderate and the place is frequented by a hip crowd.

Excellent. My fish was presented "whole" and called "dorade" or sea bream. So well prepared: simple and firm. It came with local vegetables and some french fries. The ambiance is relaxed, cool and hip! Lots of great music and beautiful, blond people! The views are just stunning, because the restaurant is on the beach, so you can watch the sea and wild waves. Restaurant De Botter is thankfully not one of them. considering its location, the prices are quite fair, and the seafood is of good quality and cooked with care. the menu is extensive, and given its demographic, is in German, Dutch, and English. the friendly and attentive servers generally speak all three languages and are comfortable switching. the mussels are fantastic, and the butterfish is a must-try. the sole is also quite good. the decent kids' menu reflects the idea that kids globally seem to like things that are fried...then again, don't most adults? both the inside and outside seating is pleasant; you can just decide if you'd like to be part of the tourist scenery or not!
