Amazing experience and time! Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. There were 4 of us and we made a reservation for 5:30pm on a Saturday. Ashlynne was our candle director! Not sure of her exact title but she was fantastic with guiding us through the process. First you come in and for your seats along the candle bar. Then you go pick out your candle jar. They have multiple sizes, styles, and colors. I forgot whether I picked small or premium small. I picked this beautiful dark green translucent jar. Next you had to the scent wall. The variety and amount of scent options you had to choose from was amazing! They had any and every scent and vibe you could possibly want. You pick 2-3 scents. The best way to pick your scent is to take 2-3 of the cork lids for the scents you like and move your nose across them from left to right and right to left to see if you like the combination. This was so cool! In the end, I picked Watermelon, Agave, and Pear. You grab the scent oil bottle you want and take them back to your seat. Next you place I think it was 5 drop of each into this plastic cup and stir with the popsicle wooden stick. You smell the stick to see if you like the scent combination as well. If satisfied, you then continue to add drops of the scent oils until you are happy with the scent combo. You fill to the first marked line if you are making a small candle. You place a sticker on the bottom of the candle, which has your name and scents. You get to decorate and design a label for your candle. This was so hard but incredibly fun and such a nice touch! They had colored pencils and colored pens to design with. Once you have your scent perfected, you install the wick. That was easy and just a matter of sticking it into the middle. We poured in the scent mixture and then poured in the hot wax. After they are both poured, you mix well for 2 minutes with the wooden popsicle stick. The small candle was ready in about 2 hours for pickup. Such a fun and memorable experience! Definitely recommend!! read more

Great experience for all size groups: couples, friends, and of course, parties. Takes about an hour and candle needs to cure 90 minutes. We went to dinner and picked up candles after. Perfect location to have a group night with all that downtown Dunedin offers. Great idea for personalized holiday gifts. Avery is amazing and extremely patient as we enjoyed smelling the 100 possible fragrances before deciding which to use for our personalized candles. Value is very good considering location in Dunedin, options to eat while waiting, and easy parking. Price is based on size of candle you choose to make. We chose the smaller sizes to give it a try. Had an absolute blast making our own unique scents for our girls' day this weekend! Originally our reservation was for 11, but my friend got stuck in Gasparilla traffic as she was coming over from the east side of Tampa; they were totally fine with us pushing it to 12 even with such short notice. I would still recommend reservations; I can see this being a popular spot! Our group at 12 was small; we had my friend and I and just another two ladies, so it was easy to get clear guidance and just generally talk with the gal assisting us. The scent sheet they provide you comes with recommended pairings under each category of things like floral, spicy, etc. to help guide you, but it's totally up to you in creating your unique scent. I went with amber, rain, and white tea for a spa-like serenity smell. My friend's pairing ended up smelling citrusy, like a clementine or mandarin orange, but she used cashmere, rose petal, and balsam fir. It smelled great, but confused us immensely trying to figure out how that occurred as a result! It's an extensive range of scents to pick from, so I'd recommend coming in with an open mind and just smelling until you find something that speaks to you. They offer multiple sizes - you can do a small candle, a large one, or a two wick, plus they have the option of a reed diffuser as well. Considering it's an experience and not just a candle, it seemed more than fair price wise - my small candle experience was $42. It's about an hour long experience, and then the candle takes 2ish hours to set. We were able to complete ours, grab lunch, and then do a bit of shopping before picking them back up, however they do also have the option to ship it, or pick up at a later date. read more

We were walking down Main Street Dunedin and got attracted into the shop by its lovely smell. We saw a large selection of scents. Then I noticed something like a bar counter with a bunch of people sitting there. They look like they are waiting for a drink, though somehow the place was lacking anything that looks like a coffee machine, beer taps or wine bottles. Seeing our confused looks, the owner explains that they are a candle bar. You select your favorite scents from the over a hundred available, then select the size and jar you like, and you can start creating your very own scented candle!! Even better, their candles are 100% vegan, using 100% US grown soy wax and 100% cotton core wicks, as well as high quality essential oils and fragrance. Their scents are really lovely, with a range of scents from elegant floral notes to yummy food smells. It's really hard to pick just 5 scents to make into a candle, they all are divine!! My best friend and I were walking around and saw the shop, so we decided go in and look around. Eric showed us how to smell the corks and what happens when you combine different scents. Walked in to enjoy a blast of cool air on a 90degree day and stayed to make the most delicious scent perfume. We had such a nice afternoon making an amazing roller bottle of scent. I was trying to recreate a perfume from my past that is discontinued and needless to say I do believe that we have done it to the best of my memory. I love to wear it and will be sad when it's gone because it is one of kind and will never be recreated again. I didn't get any photo's because I was to involved in my process to recreate my scent. I am so excited to find this business! My husband, daughter and I were drawn in by their beautiful, simple coastal decor. Then we realized not only do they have retail to offer, but the majority of the space is to create your own candles. Eons ago I had a peppermint mocha candle that I loved and burned to the end, so I knew I wanted to recreate that candle! Eric was great to show us what to do, how to pick scents and mix them. He was great at making suggestions too. Making the candles was fun, easy and creative. A nice way to make something useful while you talk with others. I made my coffee+dark chocolate+ peppermint candle and it smells so good I want to drink it! I named it Santa's Coffee. read more
