Dr. J seemed kind and professional but I only saw him for a 5 minute assessment. The second appt I waited 1.5 hours for Dr. J but didn't see him at all - Dr. K stepped in again. This time he called me by the wrong name and seemed confused about my case. He said Dr. J told him I should see T downstairs for massage. It was difficult making an appointment with T. Our first appointment I was 10 minutes early but she was 10 minutes late. She was nice and had strong hands, but she was frazzled. The whole time she talked about her own trauma. After the sessions I had worsening symptoms and tried to reach out to Dr. J through the front desk and his google voice number but he ignored my calls. From a patient access perspective, one of the things I love about this place is the cleanliness and modern feel of the office. No old ratty equipment, no out-of-date posters on the wall, and none of those other things we've all seen that admittedly force you to doubt a place when you're entrusting your health and body to them. I also love the staff's flexibility and ease of making an appointment. I don't think they've EVER failed to accommodate a specific appointment time for me, and there is virtually NEVER a wait if you show up at your scheduled time. If you're in a lot of pain and need immediate attention, they will also squeeze you in on short notice. You could practically walk into this place and be seen without a wait. Now onto Dr. Stiso. Super friendly, knowledgeable guy who really knows his stuff. Most recently I was treated over several weeks for a strained hip flexor that seemed to also have pinched a nerve due to the inflammation. After the initial injury, I was in so much pain I could barely walk. On my first visit, Dr. Stiso adjusted my pelvis and treated me immediately with laser therapy. He also provided me very clear direction on what I could and could not re: physical exercise, along with a schedule for icing the area. Even after two days, I began to noticeably improve. After a week, I was able to walk with no issue and the pain was gone. I continued to come in for adjustments to the hip area and was told I could gradually get back into the gym. Now I'm back to normal and feeling 1000% better. Life saver! As long as this practice remains in business, I will choose Stiso over any other chiropractor in the area.

I also have Plantars Fasciitis and Plantars Fibroma, so I'm pretty much a walking (somewhat) train wreck . Their demeanor is somewhat like going to the Red Bank Animal Hospital, we can help you at any cost even though your animal should be put down. Started simple enough, here's an ice pack for your back. Okay. Then a huge back brace. Then a Tens Unit. Then orthodics for my feet (although never any treatment for the condition). Don't worry your INSURANCE will cover all this. So after a few weeks they suggest I get another MRI, the one from the orthopidic doctor's wasn't good enough. So I get it done, they really don't freak me out. Then go see THEIR neurologist to read the scans. So I set up the appointment and go and see her. She asks why did you have a scan of your brain? IDK, they recomended it. ( oh the 'nurse' there thought I might have had a "minor" stroke after looking at them, thank you for scaring the shit out of me for a day). So (the neurologist) she turns and looks at me and said " There is not any type of physical therapy that could improve your condition, you need surgery as soon as possible before the condition worsens". Need I say more? I feel like I bought the 'magic oil' from the guy off the horse drawn wagon. (yeah a horse and pony show) Don't worry, I'll mail you any checks I get from the insurance company, and I plan on going to my insurance provider to get these type of places off their coverage.
