Noralene and her family are wonderful, they treat you like royalty and are constantly working to make your stay the best it can be. The rooms are kept up and decorated beautifully. The showers have the nicest showers with the best water pressure yet. The town is very close and has interesting shops, restaurants and sites to visit. The B&B and the grounds it is on are updated and well kept. Finally, the view! Ireland in itself is a beautiful country but you cannot beat the breathtaking view from the Sea Breeze B&B! We can't wait to make our way back and stay again sometime. If you're anywhere close or looking for a hidden gem, this is the place to be!

The owner was very sweet and made us an amazing breakfast. It's a little isolated, but it was the perfect base for a trip to Skellig Michael and exploring the ruins on the Skellig Ring. You can literally see the monastery ruins (where the monks settled after leaving the island of Skellig Michael) from the front room of the B&B. There is a large, new pub just down the road that serves food from noon to 9pm and Waterville is a short ten minute drive away.

They truly made you feel comfortable and right at home. Frank was even kind enough to drive us to the center of town one evening. The house is beautiful, located right on the Kenmare Golf Course with a great patio you can sit out and enjoy on sunny days. Our room was perfect-spacious, bed comfy and bathroom meticulously clean. Breakfast was delicious and coffee nice & strong(the way I like!). The location of the B&B is ideal- a quick 10-15 minute walk to the center of town where there are ample delicious restaurants/good pubs. Staying in Kenmare is also a great spot to visit the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula- of which we visited both during our stay. I cannot say enough great things about The Old Church B&B and would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was one of my favorite B&B's during our two week Wild Atlantic Way road trip.

I was welcomed with a lovely chat over tea and a scone by the innkeeper Rosaleen O'Leary! I really appreciated her taking time to get to know me and share her thoughts on Irish history and culture. My room was good sized, appealing and a great value. Showers were hot with good water pressure. The gardens on the property were just gorgeous - imagine Secret Garden type plantings. My stay included a complete hot Irish breakfast with lots of coffee, eggs and Irish bacon - similar to a fried ham. Mmmm. I enjoyed a morning walk down the road to Ross Castle, which I highly recommend. Who knew the advancements in medieval architecture and defense? Ross Castle Lodge B&B is adjacent to the Killarney National Park, and one may walk through the park to get to the 'town' of Killarney where you'll find lots of restaurants, pubs & shops. Booking was easy via email. Walkable distance to town and the train station - but a cab is easier for arrivals! A young man, Robert, owns the B&B and does an excellent job making it and you feel at home. The room we had was nice and clean, with its own bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to everything (though Dingle is not a very large town). On the second day we were there, while my husband was golfing and I was trying to decide what to do, Robert made up a pot of coffee with cookies and pastries and sat with me for a bit just to chat and relax. He also helped us with which pubs were "authentic" and gave us some recommendations on restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic, though I cannot finish a full Irish breakfast to save my life, and the coffee was perfect. We intend to return to Dingle (as it was our favorite place in Ireland) and will definitely stay at this B&B again.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with coffee and tea (and with puppy snuggles from Roma!); Mary was also quick to give us a short orientation of where we were located, recommended hikes in the national park and more. She was also incredibly helpful in helping us get reservations for our grandmother's 80th birthday. (Including recommendations on where to get a cake and balloons in town!) The location itself is fantastic - you can walk to a few short hikes - and you're only a short drive from some of the more popular hikes in Killarney National park. Then, you're only five or so minutes from downtown Killarney and a variety of restaurants, pubs, and entertainment. The rooms were clean and large! I don't know what sheets they use, but they were so comfortable and soft. They cleaned the rooms once a day. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! First, there is always a cold buffet - with granola, cereal, various fruits and pastries. The scones and jam were my absolute favorite! Then, there is also a hot menu to order from, which includes a full Irish breakfast, crepes, banana fritters, and more. We were the only people staying, so they didn't have an issue with us monopolizing the sitting room late at night, playing games and enjoying drinks. Overall, fantastic service, an adorable place, and a wonderful stay!

John took the time to tell us about all of our options while in Killarney, and his suggestion for the day trip to Gap of Dunloe ended up being my favorite part of our trip! The location is a little off the beaten path, not really walking distance to bars and restaurants but only a 5 min drive. I personally loved how quiet it was, and the views are amazing! My only small complaint is that the room felt a little damp, probably because of the weather.

It is located in the town of Caherciveen, a quaint town along the Kerry Ring drive. The town has wonderful restaurants and pubs as well as grocery stores and gas stations. People are super friendly and helpful too. Skellig Rock Pet Farm B&B is one of the most charming places we have ever stayed at. Gerard is the kindest man with a golden heart! His 'pets' are so cute, your heart will burst if you are an animal lover. The room was so perfectly cozy with a nice bathroom ensuite. The bed was super comfortable too. There are views of the water, the mountains and you can even see Ballycarbery Castle! Gerard set a beautiful breakfast out each morning and we had wonderful conversations. He is also a talented musician and if you're lucky like we were, you might be able to go to a local pub and hear him play and sing!
