The day of our original reservation was a no go because of water conditions. The staff worked it out for our group to come back two days later. The weather turned out great and we all enjoyed the experience. The pontoon was clean and well maintained. If you want to see Pictured Rocks from a different view, this is the way to go.

Storefront at the dock. We drove down a steep hill and parked right next to the storefront.

These people are wonderful! They literally saved our vacation. We had originally chartered a pontoon with a professional captain because we were afraid to take a pontoon on Lake Superior. That fell through so we went in search of another experienced captain to take us out for the day. That's when we found the fine folks at Seaberg. He reassured us how easy it is to captain the boat - as long as it is a calm day. And they won't let you take the boat out if it isn't calm. He took us out in the harbor and taught my daughter how to captain the boat. Turns out it was really easy. We spent a lovely day visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, took a million pictures and truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Seaberg for a wonderful day!

Awesome experience, Awesome people! Me and my buddy wanted to do Pictured Rocks, and we weren't bright enough to plan it ahead of time (two unprepared trolls ‍) We went to try the cruises, they were booked. We went to try the glass bottom boats, they were booked. Even went to try kayaking, and you guessed it, booked. We just happened to stumble upon Seaberg's and to our surprise, THEY HAD A PONTOON FOR US! Honestly it was all a blessing! We weren't on a boat with a ton of strangers, and we didn't have to kayak for miles. It was peaceful, and relaxing! We were able to anchor when we wanted and jump in for a swim, and we were also able to get close to the cliffs and get a ton of excellent pictures! 10/10 will definitely do again!

Amazing experience, they had a boat come back early and we were able to get on the schedule. I am temporarily in a wheelchair and the owner personally loaded and unloaded me from the boat. Amazing people and great staff. Best possible way to view the beauty of Pictured Rocks

    Dog friendly boats rock!

This place was great! Super easy to find and reasonable prices. My boyfriend and I, and our 3 dogs, came here to rent a 1/2-day pontoon (5 hours) at a total of $217. Next time we come up to the UP we will definitely go for the full day, 11 hours! Staff is friendly and very laid back. Seeing the pictured rocks was 100x better from the comfort of a private pontoon boat! Just watch our for the wake from some of the larger ships...the recoil can be a doozy.

Staff was great. Our boat was awesome and very clean. The half day trip was amazing. This is THE only way to see Pictured Rocks.

Please keep in mind that Lake Superior is the coldest of the Great Lakes, so once the sun sets it gets cold! There is an option to be on the bottom deck, which is enclosed. Part of the middle deck also has windows to shield the air. If you want to remain in the open air, you'll need a blanket and coat! Happy cruising. Also check out the store. They have many cool items for sale.

There are two rows of seats are already full outside on the dock. We are seated by 2:34pm, in the second group or 4th row. We took the 4th row of seats, even though there are open seats in the 3rd row, but it's facing right into the sun. Need to stay cooler and thus our back to the sun. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disorganized and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. The building was locked, no guide or management staff were present, there was no organized check-in process, and there was absolutely no communication regarding what was happening. Multiple guests were left outside confused and attempting to determine whether the tour was even operating. Company-associated staff eventually arrived but provided no meaningful information until directly prompted. At that point, they stated they were only shuttle drivers and that they had to "figure out what was going on" after the scheduled rendezvous time had already passed. At no point within the first 20 minutes of our rendezvous was there was any clear communication, leadership, organization, or professionalism demonstrated by the company. Considering they're responsible for guiding customers onto Lake Superior, I no longer felt comfortable or safe participating in the excursion and chose not to proceed with 10 minutes remaining until the a scheduled launch time. I attempted to resolve this directly via email since management wasn't present during working hours and present staff couldn't provide a direct way to contact management; however, they refused to issue a refund. The owner instead responded publicly to a review in a defensive manner while claiming an emergency situation had occurred. He even blamed my inability to adapt over his employees vague and unprofessional verbal responses and despite three shuttle drivers being present and not shuttling us to our launch. The issue is the complete lack of communication, organization, professionalism, and reasonable resolution afterward.
