Wish I could assign negative stars- as they deserve it more than any institution- even more than…read morethe IRS. I have had a 25 year relationship with WF, as a mortgage customer- having paid on time, and ultimately paid off early three mortgages. But when I opened a savings account, I was treated as a new customer! For 25 years I was their customer, and all of a sudden I'm a new customer ?? And the interest rate on savings - I have more than $50K on deposit, and the interest rate they pay me is 0.01%! (Yep 1/100th of 1 percent!) The fees - to execute an electronic transfer to another bank, they charge $3.00 and limit the amount of the transfer to $3,000.00. The bottom line is it's easy to open an account here, but you can't close it without paying a fee. So boo hiss to Wells Fargo. I will pay the fee and move to USAA!

When I walked in, two gents, both bank employees,one in a suit and one who slept in his car were standing at the podium. Both greeted me but went directly back to their conversation. I stood there for a few minutes as I had questions about the banks process. After zero response, I went to stand in the line. While standing in the line, the "suit" greeted other folks at the door and walked them into the bank to answer their questions. The suit even came over to the teller line and spoke to the folks behind me. I made eye contact with the guy who still never said a word. When I finished my business, as I departed, the bozo at the door asked if I was "all set". That's when I pointed to him and sarcastically thanked him for all of his help. "You're wel.......ohhhhhh" Brooke should be running this branch, certainly not the "suit" (assuming he's the branch manager) and certainly not the bozo that was tailing him.

Bank Of America at Cove Center has few employees. There is usually only one teller who has to…read moreservice customers inside the bank as well as drive ups. I understand that at times the drive up window is closed when it should be open so the teller can take care of customers in the bank. My sister opened an account. Found out temporary checks are no longer provided. The employees we worked with were competent and pleasant.

The worst. Not only the Branch but Wells Fargo as a whole…read more Closed a checking account and requested a certified check for the balance. 6 weeks later the check never came. They said I would have to wait 90 days for another check to be issued and only after I filed an a notorized ffidavit. After days and hours on the phone and in the branch I did that, but if I wanted my money sooner I could post a bond and receive the money sooner, but it would cost me 2% of the money owed me. At this point I just wanted to be rid of them and agreed. I went to the branch and was told that the only one who could do that was the branch manager and he was not in due to a broken leg! I was told it could be done easily at another branch. Making a long story short- I went to another branch and was helped by a very nice lady who took on the problem; however I wound up spending 2 hours at that branch before finally being paid out with a certified check less the 2% which I then had to cash with a different teller from the same bank. These people are crazy/ nuts. I couldn't make this horror story up. Don't do business with Wells Fargo!
