They have Aqua Zumba classes which are really fun and the instructor is great. I often go to them while my mum does laps and my younger brother plays with the pool toys provided. Tip - do not trust the receptionist when you call she has not once given correct information over the phone. Things such as opening times, prices, when classes are on she has no idea what she's talking about. Also one time me and my brother went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was apparent they had put the chemicals in very recently as our eyes stung horribly for a week afterwards and the chemicals even hurt my brothers skin for a few days afterwards so I don't recommend going on Tuesdays. I sill go for the classes but for general swimming it's worth going a bit further to noarlunga

This is most definitely a 'destination playground'. Thank goodness I found one! This is a place for…read morebirthday parties, work Christmas parties, get-togethers and why-not weekend adventures. It has wonderful play equipment, lots of space, sheltered table and chairs, beautiful trees and lawn, toilets and drink fountains. This is such a pretty and well maintained area with many walks and sections to the park. I have included a map of the park so you can have an idea of the space and fun you can have there. If you're wanting to have a large gathering at this park, I would suggest calling the Onkaparinga City Council (the number is listed in the business info section) to see if there's a booking system or a requirement to being able to request a certain area of the park. Visiting Thalassa would be a 'whole day' adventure to get the most out of the place. It sure looks like great fun and is definitely on my list of 'places to go back to and explore further'. I'm not sure if dogs are allowed at this park. Three stars is a healthy compromise :-) There are tennis courts, batting nets, a basketball hoop, electronic toilets, sheltered table/chairs, a BBQ and a massive lawn area for running around or kicking a footy. The playground is the let down of the whole area. It would have been a real 'destination' playground if there was something more elaborate, more engaging, and more inclusive for a wide range of ages in terms of a playground. A little disappointing to tell you the truth. The way it is now, it's a nice playground for toddlers. There isn't a lot here but at least there's something I guess. If there was an upgrade you-beaut playground, you really could stay here for more of the day. I wish I had a playground like this when I was growing up! This is suitable for a wide range of ages and looks like a WHOLE lot of fun. I entered the playground from Eyre Street. I wouldn't recommend this if you are with little children. It's a bit of a walk and uphill. Entering from Davey Crescent looks like a better idea. There is a drinking fountain which works!! And there are bench seats but no sheltered table/chair areas. This is part of a much bigger reserve/park area and I'm unsure if there are toilets in another section. Oh, to be eight years old again! It's a good little spot for a walk. I've really only been here to stretch my legs after a long drive, and to let the puppy out to have a bit of a play, but I reckon the place would be enhanced by some shade sails, because while this place is really quite nice, it'd be that much nicer to sit and eat a sandwich and not get a seriously sunburnt neck in the middle of summer.

There is however, a TOILET BLOCK!!!! And I'm sure you would be able to find a drinking fountain (or at least a tap) nearby. If you like tennis, this is the place for you. If your children don't like tennis, this will STILL be the place for you but not for them. :-)

Overall the gym has everything you'd expect; treadmills (plenty), bikes, cross trainers, weights rooms, stretching area, exercise balls, etc. The rooms are well air conditioned and there are showers if you need them. The staff are friendly, helpful and encouraging. I took one class doing pump (with my mum) and one class doing pilates (with a friend). The pump class was good and you felt well exercised once you were done. The pilates class was meant to be a beginners class but I felt like I wasn't being taught very well and there were people in the class who were going ahead and knew what they were doing. I was a bit disappointed with that, but in the pump class I felt a bit more looked after. To be fair, I'd much rather do my own thing rather than be in a class, but maybe Brighton can work on their beginners classes for the future. Overall, if I lived closer to Brighton or didn't have a closer gym to me like I do now, I'd probably choose Brighton Fitness.

It was good though, just not what I thought it would be. It is however an Access For All playground so there's a ramp for those children in wheel chairs. This is a park designed for toddlers. And don't worry parents, the entire play area is rubber flooring so if they fall, they bounce lol. I really liked that the toilets are close by but wish there was more (or anything!) in the way of shade. There's a BBQ and a sheltered table/chair area just in front of the toilets. There's also plenty of room for running around on some pretty lush grass. I apologise for there being only one photo.
