(It was so bad at the time that I avoided the dentist until it was dire, and would be anxiety ridden before, and during any session). After meeting him for an initial check up and cleaning, I was so comfortable I went ahead and some small procedures done (like changing some old fillings from silver to white), each time I felt better and more at ease with the process and my phobia disappeared. I have been a regular patient twice a year for cleanings ever since. Over time he has taken me through 2 new crowns, a few fillings, a route canal (see Dr Katz review), and whitening treatment. I have to admit that he has not had to do too much in the way of work, because the maintenance program we have is so good. His entire staff including his most valuable asset (Mary-Jane who is his receptionist) and the various hygienists I have had make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. I know this sounds crazy coming from someone who feared dentist, but knowing your taking care of your health, and that those assisting you are so sincere does just that. I have and will continue to send him new patients (I have at least 6-7 people now seeing him), so if your looking for a new dentist, give Mary Jane a call, letting her know you read Val's review, and you too can discover the joys of a peaceful dentist appointment.

He was considerate to my preferences (I asked for local anesthesia). He establishes comfortable verbal connection during the procedure (we chatted while he wasn't working on my tooth). The result is very good. My sister lives abroad, and is a dentist, so when I visited her (half year later) she confirmed, the repair was done very well. I recommend this clinic.

A few days ago when I did a dental exam (at another dental office), my insurance claim did not go through and that's when I realized that Dr. Abou-khalil's office has over-charged my insurance and they have used up my 36-month quota for dental examination. They did not take any images from my teeth and still has charged my insurance for a complete exam. I gave them the courtesy to fix up their mistake, that I initially assumed to be unintentional, but they refused to do take responsibility.

He explained in detail what had to be done and quoted me a very reasonable price. What I liked for starters, the fact the price he gave, was the price I paid, even after a few "unexpected little bumps" on the way, he kept to his original quote. Dr. Indig is a true gentleman with very skillful hands. He takes the time needed to get the job done properly. His honesty and very pleasant personality make him the perfect dentist. His office is well-kept and extremely clean, and his staff is very effective too. I've been to a few dentists in my lifetime, and I can say without a doubt, he's the best I've ever seen. Dr. Anthony Seminara has taken over from the now retired Dr. Bruce Dobby…read more As you can imagine, changing dentists can be a bit nerve-wracking but I had the opportunity to see him at work. I had a large amalgam filling changed out on April 1st and am pleased and relieved to report that he is the gentlest dentist that I've ever had. It took barely an hour to replace the filling and the entire procedure was painless. He was calm as he worked which helped me calm down, and his assistant was a Pro with the suction tube. Not once did I have to gargle and gasp to bring attention to rising "water levels". So now I have a fabulous new white tooth where the dull grey one was and I'm no longer self-conscious about smiling. Change is good, but not too much at one time so I love the fact that Dr. Seminara kept Dr. Dobby's old crew. Yay!

Young, professional, fun, competent and honest McGill graduate. Takes children too and uses the RAMQ cover if no private insurance. Lets parents inside with their child during entire appointment. Very honest, explains every procedure in detail, takes photos and applies newest dental medicine. Has wonderful approach to young patients, makes jokes and accommodates the patient according to need (my son required being warned prior to the local anesthesia and all his needs were met, no surprises, I suggest -discuss a sign for pain prior to beginning). Perfect job on 5 very complex cavities in only 2 appointments! , preventive space maintainer in place too. I thought that not having nitrous oxide (laughing gas) would be a reason for my child to request another clinic. He does not even want to hear about it. His words were " I like Dr Kennedy and am keeping him as my dentist for life, for me and my future children". Big thank you, Dr Kennedy!
