It is an unsolicited liberal newspaper that's been thrown onto everyone's driveway in the area for years on end, free of charge. Nobody I know actually reads this paper. It goes directly into the trash, recycling, gets used as packing, and is used as a fire starter. Today, August 6th, 2026, this paper was thrown onto my driveway where my $200K vehicle was temporarily parked. The paint job alone on this car is about $15K. The delivery person threw the paper right at my car. This dirty paper hit my car! And, I've got it on film! From the looks of it, it could have been purposely thrown to hit my car...who really knows? This is something that should not have happened! So, Grunion Gazette, if this had caused damage to my paint or some other damage to my car, are you going to cover the cost of the damages and repairs? Your delivery people are rude and careless. I NEVER asked for this paper! It should not have been thrown onto my car or onto my property! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Between me and Mr. Baird. I went to Long Beach PD on numerous occasions to report that Mr. Baird and I was being harassed, stocked and our property was being vandalized like slashing of our tires etc. So I think you could've done your due diligence and dug a little bit deeper in this case. Don't post what you hear from just police officers. Go to the source. I have copies of police reports that this matter was going on and we have been harassed for over so much time. But Long Beach PD did nothing to help us. There's a noticeable bias in how stories are reported -- especially on local politics -- and it feels more like an opinion blog than a legitimate news source. Instead of presenting balanced coverage, certain voices are elevated while others are ignored or unfairly portrayed. The reporting can also be inconsistent and sometimes lacks context, which makes it hard to fully trust what's being shared. I understand it's a small, volunteer-based publication, but if you're going to cover civic matters, journalistic standards matter. Disappointed to say this paper no longer feels like it represents the whole Fullerton community -- just a narrow slice of it.

Oh my goodness, just went to my 5th grade son's school for their presentation of 'Walk Through The…read moreAmerican Revolution'. It was AWESOME! Thank you for bringing the American Revolution to life and putting it totally in perspective! I learned SO much myself! Our presenter was Chelsea. She did a magnificent job (2-1/2 hours worth) keeping the kids active and learning! They were cheering ALL throughout the presentation and completely engaged. She had them answering questions, doing battle scenes (which they had practiced beforehand) and getting on a soap-box to present their own specially chosen character. My son was Paul Revere. We dressed him up and he memorized just a few lines that he recited during the 'show'. The kids had a blast, WE ALL learned about the time-line of events, who's who and the meaning of at least 5 of our country's different flags. Awesome. Another point I have to make (being a Christian). Unlike the public schools, California Weekly Explorer Inc kept God in the picture. Many times Chelsea would comment about how different Presidents/Explorers/Important people in history gave God the glory and/or spoke about Him in a 'Let's do what's RIGHT' way. I mean, God IS who our country's founded upon . . . look at the Declaration of Independence etc .. . Anyway, I really appreciated that. Thank you California Weekly!

My son was John Hancock and there was only one lady that ran everything her name was Kim. Kim did a fantastic job at keeping us and the children interested and entertained. I wish my daughter did this when she was in the 5th grade. I think this should be requireD for all schools to learn about the American revolution in this setting. Again thank you Kim for being so enthusiastic and energetic and helped our children learn about the American revolution in a way they will always remember.
