Meet the Business Owner: Cody H.

In 1999 at the age of 12, I started working for Sealcoat Specialties. At the time, my grandfather owned the company which he founded in 1979. I worked for him every summer for 17 years before buying the company from him. During that time, I learned the ins and outs of asphalt repair. In 2006 I also joined the U.S. Air Force Reserves and served as a member of security forces (also know as military police). In 2008 I joined my local fire department and first responder group where today I am a Captain on the fire department, a rescue squad member, and Emergency First Responder. I bought Sealcoat Specialties from my grandfather in 2017 and have grown the company quite a bit. Today we also do Asphalt repairs, Snow Plowing, and Chip Sealing.
