Rude and not helpful. I called to find out about getting a small modification made to my boat cover. The woman who answered was so unfriendly. I tried to explain what it needed and her reply "why would you want to do that"... so I explained what I needed again and she was very condescending and uninterested. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but wow- so rude. Then she told me she is booked up for a month and I would need to wait a month to get the work done! Pass!! I called another shop and made an appointment for the following week. They did my modification in about 30 minutes. read more

Communication was not the best would recommend getting a written work order invoice before work starts to assist in Communication.

I recently lost the back bench seat in my boat while traveling. I called Tim at Maxed Out Marine (I bought the boat from him) and got a recommendation for an upholsterer to make a new custom color bench seat for me. He recommended Kristen at Seam Dreams. I took the boat by their shop to get it measured and so they could take photos. Kristen promptly gave me a reasonable quote and got to my boat in a very timely fashion. Not only did she do an awesome job making me another bench seat, but she also picked my boat up from storage, made the seat and did the install and then took my boat to shadow trailer so the winch could be replaced. After which, she took my boat back to my storage unit. It was VERY CONVENIENT for me and easy. I highly recommend Kristen at Seam Dreams for all of your upholstery needs! read more

We are very happy with the new boat cover that I just had Seam Dreams make for our boat !!! The owner, Kristin did everything that she said she would do when she said.it would be done. She even accommodated the fact that since we live in Socal that I could bring the boat in twice during the process during two separate trips to Havasu so I could get the maximum amount of boating done while the cover was being made. The final fit and finish was the Friday before Labor Day which is a crazy time to have the shop trying to get our cover finished, but just like Kristin told me, the cover was completed on schedule and it for like a glove!!! I recently dropped off a boat cover and swim step cover with Seam Dreams for repairs and a couple of new straps. The initial estimate was $75. I was told the work could be done fairly quickly, but I didn't need it right away and made arrangements to pick it up a week later. When I went to pick it up, they asked me to look it over to make sure I was happy. I was more than pleased with the work. She then stated "that will be $40, please". About a year ago, we bought a 25 year old pontoon boat. The Bimini top was trash and the upholstery was not any better. We were referred to Kristen at Seam Dreams and it was the best referral I have ever had!!!! I delivered the boat to her shop and they proceeded to gut the entire boat down to the deck and entirely rebuild everything with all new wood, padding, urethane, carpet, stainless steel tubing and upholstery. The work was exceptional!! They communicated with us at every step by pointing out observations and provided options to address. Since this first endeavor I have taken miscellaneous items to Kristen and she has always been honest with her position on whether it could be fix or better to be trashed. She fixed a strap on a knee board, patched fabric on a lawn chair and reupholstered a yard swing and each time my wife and I have been very happy with the results.
