It was so much fun, we had an absolute blast! We hired Marshall 2 years ago for our engagement shoot in Rockefeller Center, NYC at Christmas time. We hired him because when we spoke over the phone to inquire if he would be interested, he was so passionate and excited about shooting in Rockefeller, despite it being a far drive! We have never done a photoshoot, so we felt nervous and uncomfortable, but he instantly made us feel confident that we would get some great shots. And we did! The day we were supposed to shoot, it ended up raining/sleeting. Marshall called us in the morning, and asked if we would like to postpone to the next day. We thought this was just so kind and accommodating, since it would have been a pretty awful experience shooting in the freezing rain! Needless to say we were so happy with the shots, that we booked him for our wedding 2 years out (also a very far drive!) He checked in with us a few times before the wedding, getting us even more excited for the big day, knowing that he was excited as well. Even after the wedding while the photos were being selected/edited, he checked in with us. When he arrived for the wedding, it was like one of our guests/friends had arrived. We were so happy to see him, he truly brought the energy! You won't feel like you are being watched, or posed, you will feel 100% natural. The majority of photos are candid, or made to look candid. They are absolutely stunning. When you get your photos back, it will be hard to believe that it is actually you! Marshall blends in with the crowd.. smiling, dancing, and getting amazing shots from all perspectives! We really loved how he will photograph from hair & makeup until the dance floor shuts down. He will really be there for the whole experience. His photos are bright and vibrant, which is the style we loved (our colors were burgundy & navy , and the flowers were wildflowers.) Vendor review: Jenna…read morePerfette Photography - Do Not Recommend We used this vendor for our engagement shoot. Although the pictures were okay, some were good (I give credit where due) - I would be doing a disservice to the brides on here by not telling you - unless you have no budget - go elsewhere. I cannot begin to tell you how expensive this was. My fiancé planned it as a surprise and was never told about the price list, nor is it on her site or Facebook. He was told $350 for the shoot, $250 for the shoot and $100 for a package. Now, he was under the impression, because he wasn't told otherwise, or provided anything that the package is for prints, or photo albums etc. But in fact, even for the digital copies, you have to pay either $40 PER PICTURE or $550 for all. This is in addition to the $350. Other packages are $900+ (again, in addition to the $250). I don't know about you ladies, but it was deceptive to be told this after we had the shoot and paid the $350. When I inquired about the digital only, she admits she isn't the cheapest but says we are paying for the 'experience' as well. I wasn't going to Disney, I was getting a few photos taken. I hope this information is helpful for anyone looking for a engagement shoot. This photographer is 3x's the cost of others I've seen - who are just as good. Needless to say, had we had all the information upfront, we would have went elsewhere. I'm happy to send anyone a copy of the price list - if you need it as it's not public. It's information I wish I had! It's not like me to put bad reviews, but after I expressed concern twice about the expense and she had zero to no interest in helping to apologizing for a lack of transparency in the beginning - I now feel obligated to warn others.

Both Jess and Colin were…read morepatient as they waited for us to finish up getting ready, as we were running a tad behind schedule. Right when we were going out for our pictures it began snowing. They both remained positive and were able to work magic with the lens. They worked quickly with our wedding party, who were not as excited about the snow as my husband and I were. (I'd seen some of Jessica's outdoor work and I knew she'd capture beautiful photos in the snow.) Jess has shot weddings before at Hotel Bethlehem so she was very familiar with great spots for our first look and wedding party photos. My husband and I do not consider ourselves anywhere near photogenic, but you would never know by looking at our pictures. They braved the weather later in the night for some outside pictures that I desired. We are still working on our album, as I am struggling to get our album down from about 175 photos, because I love them all so much. Jess and Colin captured every moment so perfectly and looking at the stunning photos helps us to relive an amazing day. Walter was so rude to everyone, including the two elderly mothers of the bride/groom. He missed taking the one picture we requested for the whole day and blamed us for making him miss the shot. He did not have a single picture of the immediate family. His DJ actually called my husband "Dan" instead of "David" which was in fact my late husband's name. This mistake brought me both embarrassment and pain. When these painful mistakes were brought to his attention, Walter refused to take any responsibility. We requested a discount due to missing scope, and Walter blocked us from viewing the gallery. I work with dozens of vendors and have never had such a distressing experience. Using Eloquent Studios is my only regret from my wedding day.
