On the day of the shoot, not knowing what to expect and with loads of ideas running through our heads, Sonya (owner of Good Doggy Photography) was nothing short of phenomenal! She was extremely calm and patient, as well as loved and welcomed all of our ideas bringing them to life with her precise photography skills. With how stressful photo shoots can be with animals, we left there feeling anything but. We were so happy with how the whole shoot went and were so excited to see the final result! On reveal day, we couldn't be anything but amazed as she really focuses on all the fine details, creating masterpieces with each photo and couldn't be anymore happier with the final product! I can't emphasize enough how amazing Rachel is. The same week my dog Ozzy was diagnosed with an…read moreextremely aggressive cancer and was given a painfully short prognosis, I also learned that I had won a photoshoot with Rachel Eve Pet Photography. After taking a few days to process the news that I was about to lose my best friend, I contacted Rachel and asked if we could schedule the photoshoot ASAP because my time with Ozzy was painfully limited. Rachel was beyond understanding and accommodating. She worked with me to get Ozzy's photoshoot scheduled immediately. She also let me bring Ozzy's brother, Pikle, to the photoshoot, as well as my two sisters. I was so incredibly grateful that she agreed to photograph all of us together. She was beyond kind and compassionate throughout the entire journey. Rachel was genuinely interested in learning about Ozzy and Pikle and wanted to get to know them. We chose to do our photoshoot in Central Park, and I was so impressed with all the creative shots Rachel captured! She was extremely patient as Ozzy and Pikle demanded treats, and ensured that we got the right shots. The photoshoot was only supposed to last an hour, but she never once looked at her watch and pressed us on time. If anything, I think we were in the park taking photos for closer to two hours! My favorite moment was after we had wrapped up the photoshoot and were walking out of the park, and we decided to buy Ozzy and Pikle a hotdog. She couldn't resist but whip her camera back out and take additional shots of them devouring their hot dogs, even though the photoshoot had already concluded. I can't thank Rachel enough for the precious memories she helped us capture. That weekend in Central Park ended up being the last weekend Ozzy was himself before we started to decline, and ultimately got his wings a few weeks later. It was the most amazing gift when Rachel let us know that our photographs were ready, and she brought him back to us with her art. She beautifully captured him in all his glory, and captured the most beautiful memories of him frolicking with his brother, Pikle. I will always cherish these memories Rachel gave us, and will particularly cherish the beautiful family shots she was able to capture of us with Ozzy and Pikle. I highly recommend Rachel Eve Photography for any pet photoshoots! She's accommodating, kind, compassionate, and extremely talented! I had so many complicated requests with not a lot of information- rainbow bridesmaids, fall foliage, dog involved - all at a location I had never been to with rooms I couldn't describe. Picking a photographer for our wedding was not easy. I think we interviewed about seven different…read morephotographers. And it was a lot of the same old boring wedding pics. Then I saw Todd's stuff. It was the first time I felt that a photographer was actually capturing the spirit and energy of the wedding. His pictures were FUN! And isn't that what a wedding is supposed to be? So we traveled almost 2 hours from where we live to meet with Todd in New Jersey. And he was so chill. And relaxed. And easy going. A nice change of pace from the madness of this wedding world. It was a no brainer. And when you book Todd, you MUST book the second photographer as well. We were lucky enough to get Danette, who is AWESOME in her own right. But getting a second photographer allows Todd to get creative. And that's what you want. Because when he gets creative, your wedding pictures turn out awesome. Our guests were calling Todd and Danette the ninjas, because they were literally effortless and yet everywhere, but you hardly noticed them at the same time. Todd leaked 20 photos from our wedding on Facebook a few days after our big day, and all our guests were blown away. My cousin said to me, "Whatever you paid your photographer, double it." Others told us that they were the best wedding pictures they'd ever seen. We received our full gallery a month after the wedding, which was crazy fast.
