Scheduled a service call for an appliance repair. The technician drove past our driveway and claimed nobody was home despite him not even pulling in the driveway. He did not bother to call to say that he had arrived or anything. Communication was nonexistent. What a terrible experience. You are given a window of 8 to 5 for your appointment. Then not show up after waiting at home all day. Three trips to fix my furnace and still not fixed. It is impossible to talk to a live person. If you really care about this review please call me. Not only all of these problems but I was overcharged by $75.00. Never do business with this company. First tech tried to get usto sign up for Sears Warranty, should have known we already had the warranty, later was told they are 2 different services when trying to use the warranty his same team sold us. Can't make this up. Odd since they tried to sell one AGAIN. Different people came by 3 times. Diagnosed 2 different issues.... a fan - didn't put it in since a different fella seemed unhappy to be there and at the first tech for being wrong about the fan. Without doing anything, said you need to now order an evaporator. So we pay more to have it installed improperly. Third party says it's the thermostat but can't fix the bad evaporator since they aren't trained. By design the phone number is only a virtual assistant so you can't fix problems. So don't buy the warranty and don't pay this firm a penny. This is set up to be a legit company but is as bad as any scam. No ethics. Eddie should be ashamed. read more

We called for service on our GE refrigerator and scheduled an appointment for repair, was not cooling at all. They came out diagnosed our problem, ordered the part and scheduled an appointment for the repair. The parts arrived on time. But they rescheduled our service appointment for 2 weeks out. it took three calls to finally get them to come out the next Monday. The tech came out and replaced the part and said it was working. for these 2 service calls, they charged us approx. $250 for parts and $402 for labor. By the next morning it was not working. We called in and reported that it was not fixed, and they scheduled a tech to come out, in two weeks. A different tech came out and diagnosed it as a different problem, ordered the needed parts and scheduled the repair for the next week. He also told us that we could request a refund for the labor of the first repair due to it not fixing the issue. He returned the next week and repaired the issue. the charges for this repair were approx. $396 and the issue was finally fixed. We had a really hard time calling in and getting a real person to speak with, once we did it took another four calls to get someone that didn't transfer us right back into the automated system. we finally got hold of a representative that told us they had sent the request for refund to billing and that we should get an e-mail in 7 days confirming the refund and it would be deposited in the 7 days after the e--mail. The e-mail never came so after 14 days we called back in and we were told we were being transferred to management. we were not. We were disconnected. their system is designed to frustrate you enough that you give up. We have not, every time we don't get the e-mail or the money, we call back and talk to another person that tells us they can fix it and they will make sure it gets to billing dept, but we can't talk to billing because it is an outside company. We have gotten the run around so much it's ridiculous. Then when we call, they tell us to much time has passed and billing has rejected the refund. So, they just request a refund of the last repair saying that should go through with no problem. Now it has been denied. I would recommend not using them for your repair as they are set up to take your money and if they don't get it fixed they will charge you even more to fix it. Our $396 repair ended up being a total of approx. $1050, we are happy to pay for the parts installed the first time even though they did not fix the issue. All we requested was the labor from the first repair ($402). Still not resolved and we are thinking it never will be! read more

He came out to check our range and said it could be an electrical issue with the breaker. He said it was safe to use. It shorted out again a few days later so I had an electrician come check it out. The electrician said there were no electrical issues, it was an appliance problem. He said our oven was a fire hazard and we shouldn't use it. This is the opposite of what Sears told me. It's under warranty and Sears canceled on me last week after I took off work and waited all day for someone to come out. I'm not very happy with your services. read more

Very good service. Showed up on time and completed the service. The AI assistant process could be improved. I received multiple texts asking if the service could be done at an earlier date. I replied multiple times selecting an earlier date and received the same text again with the same selection. Finally the service was done on the originally scheduled date. My responses to the AI assistant were ignored or disregarded. read more

I am very unhappy. The technician is not at fault. Sears Appliance Repair is at fault. They requested and received photos of the broken part, model number and serial number for our appliance. They gave us the part number for the broken part and said they would only charge us if they fixed the appliance. Several days later they sent a technician who arrived to tell us the part is unavailable but charged us $99 plus tax for absolutely nothing except driving here to tell us in person the part is unavailable. This information was available or should have been available to the customer rep who had given us the part number. This feels like a business model designed to scam people! read more

I would give zero stars if that was allowed. This is not a review about the technician, but I will NEVER work with them again. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. For one, they don't allow you to talk to humans, its all Bots. Secondly, the NO SHOWED US 3 TIMES!! We would adjust our schedules to accommodate their 4 hour window and then they would just not show up and cancel our appointment. They had canceled mutliple times saying we didnt have the parts, that had been sitting in our living room for weeks. They also canceled us after we waited an hour after the window, on a Friday evening, and said we requested cancelation. Another time, they gave us an 8-12 window. They day of, they changed it to a 5pm arrival time that then got updated to almost 8 pm, and as you would guess, they canceled us again. Another time, a technician actually showed up and for almost 2 hours stood in our house without permission to fix it since they ordered additional parts that weren't even associated with fix I requested through the warranty company. When we asked to speak to his supervisor, the supervisor refused to speak to us, give out any contact information, or identifying information for a complaint. I guess that's how they keep their jobs. I'm floored they stay in business. AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! After about 2 months, we finally have the fix (we hope). read more

Dryer went out April 26. I contact my policy holder AMERICAN HOME SHIELD and they sent Dear out, three days later. Part ordered The last of the three parts came June 26th. Sears cannot return to fix the repair till JULY16th.!!!!! According to AHS contact after waiting 21 DAYS (which would have been 27th MAY) a layout of replacement is two be made. I contacted Sears 6 time in last 2 month+ and American Home Shield 12 times. 2 and 1/2 MONTHS later still no dryer!!!!!!! Not one call back from AHS or SEARS about this problem!!!!l read more

I have had scheduled appointments on two separate days where my window was 8am to 5pm. Both times I have been no-showed, with texts coming around 5:15pm saying the appointments have been rescheduled. Use this company as the very last resort or only if you enjoy a complete lack of communication or responsiveness. read more

This is not a local business and it's not even Sears. Sears (Michigan) contracts this company from Texas. My experience was terrible. Three trips with an appointment scheduled from 8 am to 6 pm, so don't plan on doing anything else that day. After three trips it's still not fixed and unfortunately I paid in advance and no one can tell me who to talk to about a refund. They also charge you a separate $97 diagnostic fee which does not include parts or labor, only a guess of what is going on and if they guess wrong they keep your $97. Quite a scam. I'll never call "Sears" again. If you have a local Sears, not likely any more, they can't even tell you what to do because this repair outfit is not Sears. read more

I called Sears Appliance Repair because my refrigerator has stopped working. I called and scheduled a technician who was supposed to come to my home the next day. Well the technician never showed up. I called the scheduling office several times and they stated the service technician had stopped by my home earlier and no one was at home. Well I was at my home all day and the technician never called me. So I would recommend you never use Sears Appliance Repair service. Seems like they have really poor help. read more
