Would recommend him to anyone with appliance issues. Very prompt, friendly, and efficient service. I started a load of dishes right before I went to bed. at around 5 am I came downstairs to get a drink and It sounded like it was raining in the house. Our dishwasher door had popped open and the valve malfunctioned and remained open filling our entire kitchen, then sinking through the floor and flooding our basement. Ted came over and quickly found the problem and knew the part he needed. He called multiple places to find it and never gave up until he got the part and fixed it the same day! I have called Ted twice now. The second time he called back promptly but my appliance miraculously started working again and I didn't need him; still I would like to note the prompt return call. The first time... My KitchenAid refrigerator ice and drink front panels were not working, not dispensing. Another appliance repair person who was sent by an appliance store had looked at it weeks before, said he'd order a part, and I never heard back from him. Finally I called Ted's. Ted came out immediately and got the part in and had it fixed within days. Moreover, he swapped one of the two panels over so that we needed only one new panel, not two. The panel is an expensive part. The best part... The other repair guy had told me he couldn't fix my almost-new dishwasher after I had fallen on the open door (middle of the night, dark - not drunk haha) and bent it. Ted's looked at the dishwasher, bent a small part, and voila - fixed! - saving me hundreds of dollars that a new one would have cost. This man knows his stuff. He's been repairing appliances for decades and he's a consummate professional. He is also a great source of information on brands and so on.
