Needed to purchase some white chase lounges that my client saw on the Lowe's website. Local store…read morein Greenwood, SC had 4 of them in stock. 2 of them were dirty, scratched and damaged. After review and discussion with Zaire at the service/return desk it was determined that it may be best to purchase all 4 in stock in the store as no further chairs were coming from the Lowe's distribution center. Zaire explained the return policy for items purchased online that were also in stock at the store and also on discount. The website price was higher than the local store price because inventory reduction was in progress. Of course, my client needed 4 chairs and 2 of the 4 at the local store were damaged. In less than 24 hours a price was available for the chairs in stock and my client was able to use the 4 chairs even though there was some damage. Zaire was able to resolve issues for me, my client and get the last 4 chairs gone from the Lowe's inventory. She and I discussed the issue twice on two different days as I had to relay information back to my client. she was always professional and attentive to my questions and able to explain how the policy worked for Lowe's. While in the store I was able to observe her interaction with other employees, answer the phone and talk with superior manager to get solutions approved. She was very impressive and if Lowe's gets to keep her she will go far. She truly is a star at my local Lowe's in Greenwood, SC and I hope that they keep her. She has a clue (which is not typical at my Lowes). Keep up the good work. I requested her photo. She is a star!

While I always enjoy shopping in and just looking around Harbor Freight, their downfall at this…read morelocation is the way they handle customer returns. When I return something, it's because it doesn't bleeping work - the end. I expect to be able to return an item without getting an attitude and a hard time. I receive my receipts via email so rarely print them out - but this is a problem because when I return things I get told by a young, inexperienced, arrogant and snotty girl who always just says that I have to have my receipt. Never any questions for the return, didn't ask if we purchased the refund insurance for it, nothing. I asked her if they could print it out but was told the receipt emails weren't saved - and, as she turned around to find out where the manager was, rolled her eyes. I asked why we had bothered to purchase the insurance and she turned to me and said that I should have told her that. Why didn't she ask?? The manager came up, authorized the refund to my debit card and took care of it. This is the 2nd time I've had problems with a return at this store so I won't be shopping at this store again (there's another Harbor Freight about the same distance from us so I'll be shopping there). I hope this Harbor Freight location saves money by hiring young people who don't care about helping the customer because they've lost my business.

The girl laughs and agreed, well this lady chimes in from beside me telling me I didn't need to go to Walmart and I replied for $5 cheaper I would. She mumbled some words I didn't understand so I finished my transaction told the girl to chino my receipt and was on my way to the truck, this lady tells me that I can take my ass to Walmart the next time and to never come back in that store? Wow, I turned and looked at her and said I will not com back in here and y'all can give me a refund now! And she did, this lady started tearing up yelling at me not to do this to her as I'm getting my refund? And the whole time I'm thinking what in the heck is wrong with this woman! I get my $ back and go to walk out the door and see reminds me several more times not to come back, all over a jokingly opinion of their price? I truly didn't care what the price was, but they lost my business for life because of her rudeness, come to find out she's one of the owners also, so I drove 1 mile exactly up the road to a family Dollar and bought a bigger can of off for $5. No more supporting local business for this guy!

Home Depot @ $17.99, Jackson & Perkins @ $39.95 and Edmunds' Roses @ $41.95. I will update this review in a few months with end of spring growth pictures. My initial opinion is Home Depot @ $17.99 is an excellent, healthy rose and the best value. However Home Depot has a very limited selection. Edmunds' Roses $41.95 was the largest, healthiest, fullest rose of the bunch. (I recommend Edmunds {Jung Seed Co} ') . The Jackson & Perkins @ $39.95 looks very frail, very few canes and the least likely to survive.

I have placed my last order with Jackson Perkins. I have ordered bare root roses twice. The plants…read morehave been weak and small. I have about a 20% survival rate. In comparison, I order from David Austin and all of the roses have survived. To top it off J&P's customer service is lousy (delayed response) and they are very stingy with their guarantee. They won't reimburse shipping and it's a fight to get a replacement. I have been dealing with the issue with one bush, asking for them to stand behind their guarantee, for almost 3 months. Ridiculous. Lucky for me, their patents have expired on two of my favorites (Mister Lincoln and Fragrant Cloud) so I can get healthier plants from other breeders. Bottom line, unless you want a rose that is still under their patent, look elsewhere. Second, don't get bare root roses from them. Survival is very iffy. Honestly, idk how they stay in business.
