They never called, so on Tuesday I called All Around Repair and left a message then Louie called me right back and set an appointment for the next morning between 10:00 am and noon, he called me at 9:40 on Wednesday and my refrigerator was fixed my 11:30 am. When he did not show up, nor did he call, we started calling him. Late October he finally called and said they had a personal problem that needed to resolve and promised to call back that evening with a repair date. Another two weeks went by and we continued to call Jason. Mid November Matthew called and said he could do the repair. At this point, all I wanted was my money back. This had been going on since September and I no longer believed nor wanted All Around Repair in my house, ever again. He agreed to issue a check minus a service call. We are now in December - remember all this started in September!!! I have not heard from them or received the promised check. My second mistake was ever calling this company in the first place. This is a very unprofessional way to run a business and I would not recommend them to anyone!

The past few jobs he has been late with no updates unless I call him. Be prepared to wait. This last job I had to hire someone else to complete it because he couldn't do it, then wouldn't refund me. When I asked for a credit he reluctantly did finally give me a credit of $160 on a $160 payment. Then he put an expiration date on it which was never discussed. I didn't accept the credit expiration and just let him keep the whole payment. They must need the money if they are willing to lose a customer of 3 years and couple thousands of dollars spent with them. Edit to answer their follow up comment. Please everyone see that they never addressed how late they were on the job and I have posted the pictures to show that. There was no bracket that needed to be removed only screws and a buddy of mine and I did that. If you didn't know how to remove it you just should have said so.

On Friday, May 2, Mr. Jackson made a service call to my house for my LG refrigerator, I was told the svc fee would be $100; after diagnosing the problem as the compressor, he asked for $150 svc fee. I told him the amount I was quoted and he honored it. During his visit he mentioned having a compressor on hand he could place in my refrigerator for minimum downtime and he would replace his compressor with the one coming to me from LG. I texted him on Saturday, to tell him I prefer to wait on the one from LG. The compressor arrived at Jackson Appliance around noon Thursday, May 8, Mr. Jackson did not call to schedule an installation date/time. I texted him on Friday, May 9, to let him know I was aware the part was in and to schedule a time he could come out. He told me the week of May 19, I then called asking why it would take so long, he told me he could have installed the compressor he had on hand but I wanted to wait for the one from LG and he would be on vacation the next week. He refused to install the compressor, he said he preferred not to work with me and said he would drop the compressor off at my house today, May 9, he has yet to give me my compressor. Mr. Jackson was upset that I did not want the compressor he offered but chose to wait for the one from LG, he behaved very unprofessional and even hung up the phone on me. His off lack of professionalism put me in a position where I have to find a new service tech to install the compressor, and I have been without a refrigerator for over a week. I will never recommend this man or his business to anyone.

TIP: Check costs before you invite anyone out to work on your system(s). I found Primus's $85 trip charge to be somewhat reasonable. But the cost of Freon? Not so much. A quick check on eBay indicates these folks pay not more than $25 per pound of R22 for their Freon and then charge you the stated price of $100. When asked why, the smug response was .. "Well, that's capitalism." My response .. "Well, when you charge 4 times what something costs, that leaves the consumer feeling ripped off. So here's something else about capitalism you should know. People won't use you when they feel ripped off." My thoughts: There's just something not right about being told I should be happy about being ripped off simply because "That's capitalism". That would be why I concluded the call. I suppose the vendor subsequently decided our discussion wasn't over, so he immediately called back to lecture me, rather aggressively. I hung up. A few seconds later, he called again. I didn't answer. So in the end, the decision to not use Primus is more than justified by their absurdly expensive (in my opinion) Freon and their aggressive response to (pre)customer feedback.
