I have rarely written reviews. Both my wife and I want to review Todd and Whiter Than Snow Appliances. We have struggled getting someone to repair our 2010 Electrolux built in electric double oven. The two Electrolux Authorized Service companies were not helpful. "It's too old, we'll have to pull it out the wall. Between the service call and parts cost you might be better off getting a new one." Our plumber recommended an electrician who said,"I don't work on appliances but Todd with Whiter Than Snow appliances does all my appliance work." I called Todd who returned my call promptly. I told him what the problem was. After hearing my description, he ordered the bake element that was out. He texted a few days later saying it was on back order and would be 6 weeks. Several weeks later he called saying the bake element was in. We arranged an appointment. He showed up on time ready to work. Everything I had read and been told by the two service centers was that the ovens must be pulled out the wall cabinet and the repair done from the rear of oven. Todd thru his research had found a video showing it being done from the front. Within an hour of arriving he had fixed the problem including testing the new element. Before reinstalling a couple of the metal brackets, he meticulously cleaned the crevices that are so difficult to clean when assembled. When he left there was no evidence he had be there other than a couple of paper towels he had used which he had disposed of the trash can. His charges were reasonable. He is a pleasant individual. He's more than willing to talk; however, I image if you prefer no chatting he would follow your lead. I sat at a barstool watching his work. At my request he gave a commentary on what he was doing. The oven now works. His labor and travel cost are more than reasonable. We'll always call him for future repair needs. He said he repairs all major appliances. When an appliance stops working as it should it's very stressful, and mine was my refrigerator. I called a local repair shop and they told me it would be Monday before they could come to assess the problem -- this was Wednesday, so that was unacceptable. After a few more tries at different places, I called Whiter Than Snow. Todd said he could come that same day. He asked a lot of questions to ascertain the problem and asked for the model number. Sure enough when he arrived he found that it was the part he had suspected. He ordered it and by Saturday I got a call from him that it had arrived and he could come put it in, which he did, and now everything is back to normal. His price was reasonable and you can't beat his response time. Be aware though that it may be very late evening before he actually arrives. He got to me both times at nearly 10PM. I don't look forward to another break-down, but at least now I know who to call! read more

When our dryer went out, I tried several things to fix it myself. After a couple of days of no luck, I called Todd at WTSA. He even tried to give me pointers over the phone, but I still couldn't get it running. Todd came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. To make it better, he walked me through what he was doing as he was troubleshooting. Once he found the problem, he drove back to his shop, got the replacement part, and returned to our house to install the part, which fixed the issue. It was nearly 9pm, but Todd was more concerned that we had a running machine again. I highly recommend WTSA and would use Todd again without a second thought. To make it even better, I love how open Todd is about their Christian faith and how they use their business as an outreach opportunity. read more

I have had the most best experience in the world with Whiter Than Snow Appliances. From the very first phone call I knew at the moment from talking to the owner that he was going to take good care of me. I have bought a very good quality washer from them and the best thing is that it was delivered to me the same day within hours of checking it out. The owners are very caring and attentive to your needs and concerns. I highly recommend them to my friends and family. I've met Todd a couple of years ago (referred by a friend) when he came to our house late in the evening to look at my refrigerator problem. A few days ago my Maytag washer stopped working and Todd went out of his way to help me diagnose and fix the problem during the weekend with very little cost.
