So, I just discovered that Home Depot is charging me interest on their card for two (2) different appliances when I only have one appliance (a refrigerator that was on display). I was made aware that my two promo rates have expired and now they are charging $273.58 and $115.03. Joseph was somewhat pleasant over the phone, yet not helpful at all. My only question was to find out what the second item is that I'm being charged for. He said that if I don't have a receipt-- he can't help me. "It's been six months, Joseph. I no longer have the receipt. Can you pull up the appliances that I have with you? That shall solve the problem." That's me thinking that something fraudulent has happened (LOL). But, I was also made aware that because I didn't pay off my refrigerator in six months, I now have a 29% interest rate. For the record, my FICO is close to 800. I also never missed a payment and pay twice the minimum every month. Let me mention again that I have close to an 800 FICO SCORE! A 29% INTEREST RATE? Really? My message is to advise everyone to not open a Home Depot account/card. Shop at LOWE'S; ACE; Walmart. #DeucesHomeDepot
