I am only rating a one star because a negative zero wasn't an option. Home Depot's customer service is excruciatingly awful. I believe in treating people with kindness-- and actually helping others. Here is not the case. So, I just discovered that Home Depot is charging me interest on their card for two (2) different appliances when I only have one appliance (a refrigerator that was on display). I was made aware that my two promo rates have expired and now they are charging $273.58 and $115.03. Joseph was somewhat pleasant over the phone, yet not helpful at all. My only question was to find out what the second item is that I'm being charged for. He said that if I don't have a receipt-- he can't help me. "It's been six months, Joseph. I no longer have the receipt. Can you pull up the appliances that I have with you? That shall solve the problem." That's me thinking that something fraudulent has happened (LOL). But, I was also made aware that because I didn't pay off my refrigerator in six months, I now have a 29% interest rate. For the record, my FICO is close to 800. I also never missed a payment and pay twice the minimum every month. Let me mention again that I have close to an 800 FICO SCORE! A 29% INTEREST RATE? Really? We ordered a new appliance suite on June 28, 2020. It was scheduled to be delivered on July 10th, Douglas Express Delivery didn't show up! Went to store, complained to manager, rescheduled. Douglas Express Delivery brought dishwasher, didn't know anything about the other appliances. Went to manager again, rescheduled, Douglass Express Delivery didn't show again! Went to store, told manager either deliver or refund money. Finally on August 7th we received the rest of the order. Now when I check order status on Home Depot's website it shows our order as being cancelled! How inept can one company be!!! read more

On March 11, went in and asked the clerk if she was the paint expert. She said she was. She absolutely was! She matched an old paint color from 2007! Kind, courteous, and professionally handling all customers. I appreciate employees like her. read more

The staff is always very nice. Some of the organization seems a bit off. Not as bad as some locations, but not the most intuitive place. Some of the staff is very knowledgeable, some have to look up everything on their phone. All in all its perfectly fine. read more

So disappointed today when I went to my local Home Depot. It seems they've hired new employees without giving them any customer service training. Usually, when you walk into this store you are greeted with Hellos and smiles. However, today when I went in I had employees turned their back to me while they were busy texting. Also, I got nasty looks from employees stocking as if not to bother them. I did ask where the laundry detergent was ( since it had moved from it's usual spot) and I got a hasty, " It's one the end." I truly felt unwanted in this store that used to be my favorite place to shop. On top of it all I walked by 4 other employees who didn't acknowledge me all while they were on their phones. Even while trying to select garden equipment there was an employee standing 1 foot away from me. He did not say hello or can I help you. What is happening here? Avoid getting anything ordered through them. Took 4 in person attempts, 11 phone calls, 3 duplicate orders to get shades ordered. Then they called 3 times after the shades were hung to see if they were hung. They don't have their crap together at all. The installer was fine. Nothing to complain about there. The people at the shade department and the customer service department were horrible. They started by telling my husband that he had to call a consultant to have shades installed and that they didn't do shades. Then I went back because that sounded inappropriate. Then we had to spend 2+ hours at the shade desk while they ordered the shades because they had no clue. Then we stopped in and talked to the manager to be assured that they were really ordered because they cancelled and reordered the order twice! We had absolute no faith in the store. It took 7 weeks to get the shades. read more
