They installed vinyl in the wrong bathroom and even inside a shower, removed brand-new subflooring during corrections, installed the wrong threshold, and completed tile showers so poorly they had to be torn out and redone multiple times. We found uneven tile, improper installation methods, and even torn cardboard used as spacers. A third-party shower glass installer also questioned the quality of the work and was unable to install the Glass Shower Doors. The worst part was that Avalon never caught these issues--we had to identify and push for every correction ourselves. Their $1,300 compensation offer didn't come close to covering our losses in time, labor, and business. We documented everything with photos and texts. I could not return 2 boxes of kitchen tile nor 10 boxes of flooring my builder over ordered. My builder orders a lot of product from them but they would not let him return the flooring for a restocking fee. Corporate in Cherry Hill thought this could be a remedy with the local store but no deal. I would suggest going to Floor and Decor. Their customer service was excellent and the return policy is great.

He built my friend's 4000 square foot home from the ground up---and it is beautiful. Josh was super responsive and very professional, providing us with a detailed contract that included the full scope of the work so that there would be no surprises, The time for completion of the project was a little longer than we had expected but since we don't live there through the winter months (when the work was being done) it impacted our use of the property only minimally. The bathroom he remodeled was a total gut job. We had a ridiculously large soaking tub, only one sink and a small shower. He removed the tub, installed a 92" custom vanity (done by Euroline Designe), a larger frameless shower, a custom framed mirror, new recessed lights and all new flooring. We are so pleased with how it functions now, and absolutely love the way it looks. He's a good guy with a lot of integrity who takes pride in his work...something you don't see too often nowadays.

Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. Lastly, he's a friendly guy. I know it can feel awkward having a stranger in your home. Not with Mike. He's trustworthy, down to earth, and you'll be friends in no time.

Jeffrey was our main point of contact for our project which he helped design; make recommendations; and provide us with guidance. Jeff was patient, communicative, and very friendly from first consultation til the last day. But what I appreciate about him the most is the attention to detail he had and ensuring that everything was done in an order that both made sense as well as left the house in a perfect state. We visited the showroom several times throughout the process to grab samples to take to the house so we could see how things would look in our home. Everyone we met at Artisan was very friendly and accommodating. The craftsmanship and work product was fantastic. After demolishing the old kitchen, they had put in all new kitchen cabinets and installed all new appliances for us. They removed the old carpet throughout the house and put in new laminate flooring. They were completely unprofessional and the quality of their work was terrible. They trashed our house, they used a domestic vacuum to clean up their sawdust, they left debris on the roof, the craftsmanship was terrible, they didn't finish the job and we don't even want them back to redo it because they were so sloppy and uncaring.
