Based on my experience with dealing with painters, cancelling, not showing up without a call or showing up 2 hours late for an estimate. We just had 2 painting groups for the same job, because the first group. Painted our ceilings bright yellow. And the walls a very dark, deep grayish blue. I had the containers marked with the color sample cards with directions as to what paint goes where! The problem was they did not read or write English and were using phones for their needs for translation! The job was bigger than expected and he reacted well, worked out how to patch a hole in the roof and fix other issues with very little added to the cost. He was super considerate of my tenants in the house, cleaned up well after the work and did an excellent job especially for the cost!! He was the lowest bid I received and the work came out beautiful! He also did all of this while working with me living many states away in Massachusetts.
