I brought my 6 year old niece and we had home plate box seats in Sec. 102, Row 4. The net now goes all the way down baseline into outfield, so Ticketmaster seating chart is inaccurate. Had I known that, I would've bought the cheapest seat towards the outfield. Tickets for my game, June 2026, seemed to run $11-30. It's easy to enter and exit the park. There's a small pro shop and plenty of food and drink vendors but prices are high, on level with what you'd pay at a MLB game. $5 water, $10 hotdog, ball caps were $30-50, etc. Their website seems to offer a lot of game night promos, it was 2 for 1 night when we went but finding out what was on special was difficult when I did finally get answers after asking 3 staffers, it really wasn't a 2 for 1, more like combo deals. Our game ended up being suspended due to weather but they offered the opportunity to return for free to a future game this season. In the end, the experience was OK. In the future I'd come back but I'd buy the cheapest ticket and eat beforehand.

The Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1975 to safeguard the endangered Mississippi sandhill crane and its unique disappearing wet pine savanna habitat. The refuge consists of more than 19,000 acres in four units and is now part of the Gulf Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The visitor center was closed when we arrived so we were unable to get a physical stamp but reached out and they mailed us one. At a National Wildlife Refuge, you can primarily engage in outdoor activities like birdwatching, wildlife photography, hiking, fishing, hunting (depending on regulations), and nature viewing while respecting the primary purpose of the refuge which is to conserve and protect wildlife and their habitats; many refuges also offer environmental education programs and guided tour possibilities are endless. Would know more if the visitor center was open so we took in the day and enjoyed watching the birds on this stop.

It happens every year in the City of Biloxi and apparently I got to attend the 38th year celebration! Usually it happens around September each year and is on the weekend only. The location usually changes year to year but most of time in the same vicinity. This year it so happened to be in Biloxi Town Green which is right across from the Hard Rock Hotel. The admission is $5 for adults and $15 for the Gumbo contest they do on the last day which provides a cup of gumbo from each team. We decided to go on a Sunday and parked our cars at the Hard Rock parking lot and quickly crossed the street to the entrance. Immediately we noticed hundred of vendors and people selling local items from there business to the crowd but we came for the food. We noticed a large food stand selling plenty of items of seafood and other items such as turkey legs, alligator, and even shark. Most of the items there were fried and they even had crawfish platters. They sell Italian sodas and snow balls to beat the heat as well. Other vendors that were there was a BBQ truck with brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, and also tamales. I went ahead and got 1 tamale and wow it was creamy and had perfect flavor and spice. The size wasn't all that but it was good to go in my books. They also had a boiled seafood pavilion with blue crabs, seafood platters, and shrimp. We went ahead and got the half dozen blue crabs steamed with a side of deep fried jalapeno peppers. They were very fresh and sweet however the peppers just wasn't my thing because they seemed to be sitting out to long. They have a huge covered tent pavilion where you can go in and beat the heat by sitting under some shade eating your meals. This even had live bands and alcohol, face painting, and even huge air bounce houses for the kids at a set price. Overall love the ideas of celebrating South Mississippi rich seafood culture but just wish there was more seafood options and a lot on non fried options as well. Its a great family fun event to attend and enjoy the beautiful Gulf Coast!
