When you arrive, the modern architecture of the Playhouse is quite striking. The venue design is excellent, particularly should one have disabilities. You can drive right up to the venue, valet your car and enter right into the theater. The theater is very clean. There's a bar with some fancy cocktails and food. I did notice that during intermission, there's a very long line. Overall, customer service was very good. The theater could've used larger restroom signs, as it was difficult to locate them. However, the number of restroom stalls were more than adequate. The prime orchestra tickets were $109 pp. The play was just fair. However, I am spoiled with New York area theater.

Right now they are sharing the Travis Center, very small area but efficient. This talent is deserving of the breather facility awaiting them. All staff are welcoming, volunteers help out as Ushers. Ticket prices are reasonable for such wonderful entertainment, no amateurs here!

We chose Steven as our florist for our destination wedding at LaPlaya after viewing all of his work…read moreonline. As soon as we spoke with him our decision was made and meeting him in person before the wedding just solidified it. He is truly a great individual, extremely professional and his creativity speaks for itself. We also decided to use him as our day of coordinator and also to help decorate the reception venue, order our favors, props for the beach ceremony, etc. Thanks to Steven's help and creativity our wedding turned out absolutely awesome! The floral arrangements were stunning to the point that it pained me to toss my bouquet. I ended up taking my bouquet home and received numerous compliments at the airport. During our conversations with Steven we expressed our interest in having a travel themed wedding and gave him a few ideas of what we were thinking about. Steven kept some of his decor ideas as a surprise and when we walked into the reception venue we were amazed. Our friends and family have been raving about the decorations in the reception venue and all of the floral arrangements up to this point. A week before the wedding we came across a quote that we had seen once before. We then floated the idea out to Steven if he could use it during our farewell brunch. He was able to creatively tie the quote into our wedding theme perfectly on such short notice. Steven has more than exceeded our expectations. He helped to orchestrate a wedding that has created memories that will last a lifetime for us. Steven helped to make our wedding planning process fairly stress free with an amazing outcome. We can not recommend him highly enough.

steven was a dream come true, my beloved mother was turning 90, and it was terribly important to me…read morethat the florist create a setting that made her feel as if she was in a heavenly garden where magical angels and fairies were floating above... his work is beyond description, it is so extraordinary in both structure and imagination that i was awestruck when i entered the space...none of the guests wanted to leave, he had created an earthly space of energetic wonder, and everyone felt the passion he had extended in creating the setting, and executing what we had planned... from custom tablecloths, to outstandingly unique centerpieces, to the victorian nosegay bouquet he provided for her to carry, and lastly, to the mammoth arrangement he prepared for her to take home for the real day, he heard me, and designed my hopes into a reality that will be forever etched in my memory whenever i remember that day... and he is a delight, an intelligent and sensitive creature who has found what he was born to do, for the rest of us, that means we can receive the privilege if we are fortunate enough to call for an appointment... i may just have to invent a celebration, just for the sheer bliss of working alongside him soon!!!

We had tuna tarter, a fantastic salad, fresh bread with goat cheese raspberries sun dried tomatoes(also fab) and steak plated with mashed root vegetable, a potato type pancake and caramelized Brussel sprouts. The chocolate ganache dessert with berries topped it all off! Matt and Gavin worked for a few hours preparing our meal. They cleaned up and it was delightful. It was a very special way to celebrate and we enjoyed the experience. The food was incredible!
