When you shop and buy $50 bucks of products at Chang Jiang Supermarket within 90 minutes you get parking for free. Purchased $25 dollars and overstay 90 minutes. My parking fee was $10 bucks. Great deal compared to parking at other lots that can cost $12-$16. Definitely, the aisles were well maintained here. We shopped for papaya and staff was picking up the wrappers and sweeping the floor. Lots of sales when it comes to shopping for vegetables. Fruits are fresh and well packaged. Busy shopping here and lines get long at the cash register however staff is very efficient and moves quickly. Will be back again.

I was able to try their Korean toast this morning. I was told you can order it at 7am for people needing a breakfast sandwich. It was $5 and it took about 5 minutes or so for it to be made. You order it with the lady then go inside to pay and show her your receipt. The Korean toast was made of white toast, cabbage and carrots shredded up mixed with egg into a big square omelette, a slice of American cheese and a slice of ham. Eating everything together was ok but eating just the vegetable and egg part by itself was very bland. I think it needs a little more seasoning. Also the sandwich came with ketchup already on it so if you don't like ketchup then let them know. As for the market items it was a bit expensive compared to Hmart a block away and the meats didn't look as fresh or have a large selection. The only thing with a great price was a case of Shin Ramen for $11.99.

I visited around 1:30pm and, unlike many busy markets in Flushing, the atmosphere was lively without feeling chaotic or overcrowded. Maybe i was there at the time? Their fresh produce section is extensive, seafood selection impressive, and there is an abundance of Asian snacks, sauces, noodles, frozen specialties, and hard-to-find ingredients from across Asia. Prices were also quite reasonable considering the quality and variety. This said, their tiger fish was at $54.50 a pound which is on the high end of the market. A major plus is the excellent food court, offering a wide range of delicious options perfect for a quick lunch or snack after shopping. Overall, JMart delivers a very Asian authentic shopping experience right in the heart of Flushing. This is the go to place for my mother in law.

They also carry a number products and brands less commonly found in other Chinese supermarkets. This Skyfoods is one of a few locations, two in Flushing and one in Elmhurst; this one sits on the first floor of the Shops at Skyview on College point Avenue in downtown Flushing. Walking in from the main entrance to the shops this is kinda hidden towards the back of the building. It's nice that it doesn't usually get too crowded. They give free parking in the structure if you shop and buy over $40. What's nice similar to some other larger Asian grocery stores (Hmart, Mitsuwa) is they sometimes do sampling stations on weekends where they showcase a handful of products. My last purchase of a box of Asian pears was because I got to try a couple pieces of sweet fruit so I felt confident in picking up a box. Aside from fresh produce, meat and seafood, dried, canned and packaged foods, they have relatively larger refrigerated foods and tea/drinks and snack sections. See pics of some interesting products. Also for example they carry some instant powdered sweet fruit (jujube, sour plum) teas here I don't find in other places, and for that reason alone I make a trip here every so often.

Found prices to be tad marked up. Presently, they are still giving away red bags. They probably have lots stocked up that needs to be given out.
