    The tailoring work is first class. You would have to go to continental Europe, specifically…read morePortugal, to get the same thing. They can do things that most tailors can only dream about doing (e.g., Neopolitan shoulders, canvasing that is light and airy). This is a master tailor at work, and expect to pay a fair price for the results. If they were located in Montreal, Calgary or even Winnipeg, I suspect they could charge four times the amount and not take walk-ins. I find their real strength is dealing with military-inspired work (i.e., adjusting British made suites or making them from scratch). However, they can do a more relaxed Italian style. This place is a gem. The only problem is that few people in Regina will notice the quality. However, when I have had some of their garments repaired in Montreal (they last forever) tailor there asked for the name, and they know who it was. These people are craftspeople/artists in their own right, and I am grateful they are here. You do not go to a gourmet restaurant looking for a cheap hotdog. However, for comparative bargain basement prices, given the quality, this is a deal.

I usually clean and press my own clothes but decided to treat myself and have a professional do the ironing for me. I brought in all the pants in my closet except for a single pair, filled out a ticket with my name, address and phone number and left the items in the pickup closet. I was expecting same or next day service - this was not the case. I thought that was odd, but decided not to be a complainer. I've worked in customer service for most of my life and am intimately familiar with what it feels like to deal with an unreasonable customer. On business day number 6 really feel that I've waited long enough and called them to try and figure out what the problem was - maybe the pants had been delivered to the wrong place, I'm generally easy going and willing to grant grace when mistakes happen. The gentleman that answered the phone was pleasant and promptly able to look up the order by my last name and informed me that the ticket did not have our business name on it so he didn't know where to drop them off an they had been sitting at the plant. So here is my problem. As a business, you provide a service. When something prevents you from providing the service, the smart thing to do is to try a little problem solving - otherwise you don't get to stay in business for long. Brace yourselves for some sarcasm. I realize it's an enormous problem solving challenge but I would have thought that it might have occurred to someone to like oh, say, call the flippin' telephone number that's written on the ticket that came with the mystery garments! In addition, when the customer calls and solves your problem for you, the right thing to do is bend over backwards to ensure that the customer is, if not happy, at least satisfied that the problem was resolved to the best of the business' abilities. Instead - I'm told that they will be delivered the next business day. Guess. Just guess how annoyed I am. They made me go online and write a bad review. I'm the guy that will tell the waiter that his cold food is fine to avoid complaining. Complaining isn't polite! THIS is how unreasonable customers are created. Way to go Belgian Cleaners & Tailors! So, I dropped the 5 items off on the 15th of June and get them back on the 25th. For this I'll have the pleasure of giving them my credit card number to pay the bill. Absolutely unacceptable, they will not get my business in future and I will ensure that others steer clear of them as well whenever the opportunity arises.
