Enjoyed our time with Jason. Caught fish all day long. Would use SeaSquared again when we return to Marathon.

Ever since me and my husband first came to Marathon in we always wanted to take a boat around the island. We happened to come across a sign for boat charters and decided to call super last minute. The lady on the phone hooked us up with the captain Roger and he is AWESOME! Super super friendly. We learned so much about the island. He answered all our questions. We went pretty fast at times. Roger made our trip a million times better and all we keep saying, still is that was the best idea ever we did, one of the coolest experiences we ever had, and we can't wait to go back and do it again!!! Defintally highly recommended! And Defintally try to get roger to charter!

We did a 1/2 day shark trip aboard the sea squared 2 with Captain Ricky ! What a blast the kids had ! We caught 5 lemons and had 3 bite through the leader material and break off ! It was non stop action ! Highly Highly Recommend ! Captain Ricky was a great host , multi tasking the whole trip tying and crimping leaders, chumming , switching rods around and helping us all at the same time ! We will be back to fish again with sea squared !

Capt Chris and Jason were top notch. We had a group of 6 including 2 kids under 12. Had a great time and caught a lot of different fish. Would definitely book them again the next time I am in the keys.

Black grouper caught on the first day of the season with Captain Wayne!

My family and I had a great time with Captain Wayne on Wayne's World for reef fishing! Captain Wayne was laid back and gave great instructions since it was our first time fishing in the ocean. We brought in 11 snappers and 1 black grouper. The black grouper was especially exciting because it was the first day of the season! We had our fish cooked up at the Castaway restaurant next to the dock and it was delicious. Definitely would recommend to anyone planning a trip to the Keys.

Two different snappers that we caught today. Absolutely delish!

Captain Chris is amazing! He is a great guy and his mate Jason is fantastic! They are the perfect balance of seriously knowing what they are doing and fun!!! They truly take care of you and teach you so much throughout the trip! The best use of our time here in the Keys!

Second , he has impeccable details to boating safety guidelines. You feel like you are in good hands with Captain Scott as he navigates the ocean. As we anchored at Sombrero Key Reef, Captain Scott paid attention to all safety concerns. Plenty of water toys to enjoy the abundance of surrounding fish and the blue waters of the Florida Keys! The boat was well stocked with towels, ice , water and soft drinks. If you need a catamaran rental for a slice of island paradise, go see Captain Scott!

So I gave them a call and I am so glad that the other place was booked up because this is by far the best charter I've ever been on. We snorkeled, had snacks, learned how to sail (a bit) and it was just amazing. My ten year old twins want me to book again tomorrow. Captain Scott and skipper Brody are outstanding. They made our day! Fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels and great sailing. What more can you ask for! Book with these guys! You won't regret it! Cannot beat the experience of the service. Don't go anywhere else! I'll be booking another tour, hopefully before we leave to return home, my husband had to miss it and after he heard about it from us, he wants to go :). Don't miss out on these guys!

I checked online to make sure the company was legitimate and called to formally book the trip. We excitedly booked at the end of January for a trip at the beginning of June, making it clear to Capt. Joel that the goal was to catch a sailfish or marlin or something to write home about - a memory our graduate would carry with him for a lifetime. I understand it was a stretch goal, but we quickly realized when we arrived for our very expensive 6 hour deep sea charter ($1600 + $300 tip), that Capt. Joel and his first mate, Eric, only ever intended to bait for Mahi - prey which is plentiful without the "deep sea"journey. The entire trip was a search for Frigate birds - apparently the real fishing guides. The fishing lines may have actually been in the water for only 45 minutes to an hour of the entire trip. We fared some rough, stormy seas to catch some very mediocre baby Mahi - total of 3 caught in what ended up being a 7.5 hour trip - plus a lost sea dinghy that the 1st mate and captain felt was worth retrieving for their own personal gain while we were politely grinning and baring an awful experience of a hopeless fishing expedition. Unfortunately, we got to watch one Mahi filet slip out of the first mate's hands into the ocean when he was cleaning the fish. I have to say, I did feel bad for him being left in the pouring rain to clean our fish while our captain dismissed himself to the indoors. Thankfully the 1st mate's friend came along with an umbrella after 15 minutes or so. At least we had enough for the three of us to have a "cook your catch" dinner at Castaways, along with some Ana Banana consolation fishing shirts and hats to memorialize this unremarkable trip. We were so excited and then so Incredibly dissatisfied with this trip. Please do yourself a favor and skip this Captain and skipper.

We had booked the day before and were told that if weather conditions were unsafe due to the wind, the trip would be canceled and we would be notified. When we arrived that morning, we were told the trip was still going ahead. As we headed out, Candice explained there would be a "splash zone" on the boat. Unfortunately, the conditions were much worse than expected -- the entire boat was getting soaked from rough waves and strong wind. The ride out was extremely intense, and honestly, I expected we might turn back. When we arrived at the snorkeling location, the waves were still crashing heavily, visibility was poor, the wind was strong, and it had even started raining. I was surprised the trip continued under those conditions. Since we had already paid, I decided to try snorkeling anyway, which ended up being a mistake. Within minutes, I was struggling badly in the water. The waves were rough, I was swallowing water, and I was fighting just to get back to the boat. My daughter actually had to help me back in. Once I was back onboard, the rough conditions made me extremely seasick, and I spent the rest of the excursion vomiting over the side of the boat. It was honestly awful. I do want to say that Candice, the captain, and Hope were all incredibly kind and helpful throughout the experience. I understand everyone is trying to make a living, and I appreciate how nice the staff was personally. However, I truly do not believe it was safe to be out there that day. What surprised me even more was that my husband was out fishing that same morning, and his captain told him there was "100% no way" snorkeling tours would go out in those conditions -- yet ours still did. Thankfully, this was not my first snorkeling experience, because if it had been, I probably never would have tried it again.
