Portable mounds and base plugs make the field versatile for multiple age divisions. Some spectators back their cars up near the visitors bullpen, pop their tailgates, hop in the back and enjoy the view. Enough space around outer perimeter and bleachers for Covid distancing. Bullpens on both sides for warming up pitchers and catchers. There's a full sized grass field nearby that's slightly less kept. Sadly, if there are two games happening simultaneously, the mid sized parking lot can get pretty full. 2 porta-potties on-site. Apple Maps GPS gets turned around when trying to nav here.

Unusual for VB Parks Department to not be on top of. The location has high visibility off Great Neck Rd. It's North of Virginia Beach Blvd. parking is by a small gravel lot. Overflow nearby business across the street on off hours I suspect. The landscape is non existent, but not needed. The grass was freshly mowed and tall pines add shade and beauty. Unfortunately there was a lot of debris around the basketball court. I would consider the area to be safe. London Bridge Park is straight forward. It has a ball field and full court basketball court that's it No shelter, no restrooms and no playground. I saw at least one trash can at the entrance and it was within it boundaries. I have never witnessed a baseball game in progress when passing by. It has a great infield and fenced in back stop. The outfield is level and not fenced in. There are no lights for night play. It is open to the public and assume there is a schedule of games during the season. The full court basketball is not regulation length. It has a concrete floor that looks newer. The hoops and nets in great shape. No lights for after dark play. It appears the debris was recent, like probably last night with it being Friday. All of the trash was located within 25 feet of a can. Since I had the time I picked it all up. If your interested in baseball or basketball before sunset this is your place. 3.5 rounding down with no amenities and debris.

The workers are prepared to keep the field in shape in any weather. Dogs allowed! It's free admission to watch your kid's game and there's a parking lot, overflow across the street and the rec center. Also, there's bathrooms in the back of the food stand. They have the best food stand with tasty treats while you watch the game (or for your kids). Just a little tip, bring sunscreen bc the stands are not covered.

Smaller parking lot but there is far more parking in the back area by the golf course. It's famous for the two weekends a year in spring during the Cherry Blossom Festival hosted here. Alas, the lines to pull in are SO long, I have avoided it and never seen it in action - though, it's on the bucket list for some day. It's cute and small, and worth a visit if you're in the area, but it's nothing to make a trip across town solely for under normal circumstances.

Today I went on a rainy day so make sure to bring rain boots as parts of the main paved trail gets flooded. There is a playground two of them, a basketball court, playing field open and caged for games, a park office, but it is not staffed. This rating is based on it being a public facility…read more Courts: The tennis courts are freshly refinished and in excellent condition. There are 8 courts so there's plenty of room without much of a wait. On the day we arrived only half were in use. Pretty good for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Amenities: Practice Wall: The five court area has wood wall to practice both fore and backhand drills. Restrooms: The park has a permanent restroom structure but since neither I nor my wife used them we can't comment on their cleanliness. Parking: More than Abundant parking to allow for single or doubles play at each court. Shortfalls: I didn't see any drinking fountains so be sure to bring a cooler of water and such. There also aren't any benches in the court area so if you want to rest between games then bring a folding chair...and an umbrella if you want refuge from the sun. Overall: excellent set of courts that are under used, which works great for us because there's no wait! All-in-all this is a 3.5 but I'm rounding up because of the condition of the courts and lack of wait.

I could have drove 45 minutes and been in Williamsburg! But I was still in Va Beach. From the General Booth Blvd/ VB proper it's roughly 30 minutes. Honestly those 30 minutes seemed an eternity. It's deep in Pungo closer to the NC border. A beautiful park tucked away, but when you enter the park it spreads out into a nicely manicured area that opens to water access to the North Landing River. There is plenty of shaded space and open space and benches through out. Sheltered picnic areas, concrete corn hole boards, volleyball courses, baseball fields, basketball courts and an 18 hole disc golf course. Plenty of clean bathrooms. Although, some of them were closed for winterization. The bathrooms attached to the rental office close to the boat ramp were open and clean and stocked with soap and toilet paper. It's a huge area on 100 acres so plenty of walking to be done. It's so nice and quiet and peaceful that I almost don't want to share this review. But it will probably stay that way unless you live in the Pungo area or close to it, with it being so far!! It is a one way only loop that circles the inner area of the park. They even have a nice large playground area for kids. In the middle is a little garden. Swimming isn't allowed, the water access is one of the legs of the intracoastal waterway. I remember coming here once, back in 2009 for an Easter picnic in which I was invited. With so many years having passed, it's nice to know it's remained beautiful, but obviously with a lot of additions to it. I remembered it being super lovely out here, but just extremely far. Which is why I think it's taken me so long to return. Honestly, it's so quiet and tranquil that you can be alone with your thoughts and just enjoy nature. I like that it's away from the hubbub and chaos. I just wish I didn't live so far from it.

There are plenty of trash receptacles throughout. A volleyball and basketball court and unique features like bridges, gazebos, and a rock wall you can hike! Take a little getaway from the bustle of life and enjoy the time at Bayville Farms.
