Matt wasn't the lowest rate, the highest sale volume, nor did he cite a substantially higher sale price. I also had a tight timeline because I had to leave the US within a couple of months. In the end she managed to reach the right buyer. During the preparation phase, she did her own inspection of the house to get ahead of any serious issues. She then put me in touch and reached out with the necessary contractors to get any high-priority repairs needed. Finally she handled staging the house to make it look as pretty as possible. Throughout the selling process she and her team held ten days of open houses, and over 50 individual showings. She followed up with many of them, as well with other agents to get a feel for how the market was doing. Because of that we got a good feeling for why the house wasn't selling and then made further changes. When we got an offer, she tried to make the closing and negotiations as smooth as possible, and tried to handle most of the stressful things behind the scenes. She is friendly, smart and very hard-working. She will get your house in front of the eyes of a LOT of people, and then get feedback from them and gradually suggest fixes to make it more likely to sell.
