Today was the worse experience I have had from a barbershop from a customer service stand. Jen the barber, whom actually does a great job, today was a bit confrontational accusing me of being late every time. I have had 3 haircuts with them, never late and one time I had to wait for her 10 minutes. Today I was late 5 minutes, LITERATELY. Maybe because the owner there, but she acted a bit aggressive, confrontational and made a point to make sure his customer knew how he messed up her entire day with attitude and arrogance. To the point that I had to just walk away within 2 minutes of arriving. NEVER IN MI LIFE GOING BACK and will ask the other 4 people I recommended that have actually been coming here not to come back. We appreciate what you do, but at the end you still depend on customers and customer service, no matter what, should be your #1 priority!!!! read more

Pros: The place has a great vibe. Clean,cool, and modern. Staff was super friendly. Cons: went in for a haircut for my wedding and came out looking ridiculous. Booked the consultation hoping to talk to the barber about what would look good. I guess he was on a whole other page than I was because my haircut looked like a "supercut" special. Nothing cool about it. I was very disappointed. Again, this is more a review about the barber than the place itself. I am so relieved to have found this place! Being an LGBT woman with short hair, it's VERY difficult for me to find someone who takes the time to actually listen to how I want my hair cut. Today was the first time in nearly two years that I've walked out of any shop feeling happy and confident with my haircut! Mary took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and she even fixed the horrible haircut lines and chunks I had left over from the previous haircut last month. Great location and had a great cut done by Gwendolyn once. Yelp shows they're by appointment only but their open sign says walk ins welcome. I'm disappointed because I walked in, like the sign says. There was no one waiting for a cut and the barber was finishing up on someone. I was told he was booked for the night and suggested I come back tomorrow. I understand being booked, even with no one waiting I suppose but he didn't even ask if I wanted to schedule an appointment for tomorrow. Sort of disappointed honestly. They do good work but it's hard to get a haircut there. read more

As someone who is very particular about my hair, it can be difficult to find a place that I am 100% satisfied with. This place checks every box. I usually get a mid fade, and just texturize the top of my hair. If you're looking for a professional, clean cut with a skilled and kind barber then you have to go here. Taylor took the time to get to know me and what I wanted, she was always super easy to talk to and did a killer job every time. As a woman with short hair, it can be difficult to find the right place to feel accepted and get a good cut, but this place is one of the most lgbtq+ friendly places and does an amazing job on any human that comes in! read more

I went to Seawolf barber in Tacoma Washington, there's only one I know of. It's not in the best area but I'm from here so I'm used to it, they were very nice which is normal but I'm going in there to get a great haircut, at least you'd think anyway considering it's 40$ without a tip for the barber. I don't wanna say any names but Mary faded my whole sides and the back of my head with scissors and a comb. Don't get me wrong she was very kind but it turned out exactly like how you'd think! scissor line cuts in every which way and patches all over the sides and back of my head, it was uneven everywhere! I later got it fixed at my old barber which is 20$ and they do a 10x better job than she did. The haircut was not good at all it was a waste of 50$ who does a FADE with scissors anyway you need to get the haircut even all the way around your customers head. Especially if you want returning business. 20$ plus a tip to my old barber again, I'll stick with them instead. Hopefully this helps future customer's choose a specific barber. read more

Best haircut I've had in my life, hands down! My hair has always been a challenge for most pros, so I end up settling for mediocre cuts. Casey really took his time on me, making sure every hair was going to lay just right for my pompadour style and even pointed out a few mishaps from my last haircut that I was unaware of - and fixed them so the grow out would be even. I really appreciate his attention to detail and persistence. The aesthetic of the shop is really cool, vintage mixed with modern - I could spend hours just hanging out there. The selection and quality of styling products is impressive - I love that he doesn't just carry the same stuff as all the other shops - he cares about using products that are more natural, organic, non irritating, good smelling, but not overpowering. The hot towels smell incredible - I even splurged a little and bought the Crown Shaving Co. tonic just so I could keep getting a whiff of that amazing scent!
