They have furniture and large items upstairs. They have some nice boutique type jewelry in the counter. They also have a large selection of ordinary(but pretty) costume jewelry. They have a lot of dolls above the books in the book room. The art is on a wall upstairs with the furniture. I saw some pretty light fixtures in the back. They had cookware and small appliances. I walked out with a nice piece of elegant vintage glassware for $8. It's worth stopping in!

We spent a few hundred dollars and had a good time looking. They have a fee for credit card so we used some cash. Clean, well put together collection of things that allow a group with different interests to look around at the same time all looking at different things. We stop here every few months to see what is new. Talked to a few vendors yesterday and they are all nice. Some cool finds yesterday. Different stuff from last time I was there.

Came in the first time on a lark: stopped in town for a nosh and a sweet after looking at a trailer up the road a piece and on my after-luncheon constitutional I happened across this trove of treasures. Looking through the glass I spied more and better items than I've seen in my wanderings of late; even those items that run contrary to my tastes are appealing for their substance if not their styling. I stepped inside half looking for a bright wall sized piece for the living room and found everything else instead. Jeff and I exchanged pleasantries and a few adjectives as we discussed the variety of items and how this all got to North Carolina. Turns out that the items in store come from clients across the country with the possible exception of the upper plains. Urns, vases, and statuary; period furniture and screens; silks, oils, prints and water colors... capturing all manner of subjects from wood ducks to orchids to the human form. In a blow molded world with press board bases and faux finishes Stately Homes houses an assortment of enduring and endearing objects.
