We attended to store on Saturday, Feb 16 right when it opened (we did not have an appointment and were shopping for a prom dress) The lady that attended to us (sorry I do not have her name) was just amazing, it was actually an emotional experience as I and my daughter are used to having such bad experience or just ignored. She was patient and kind, offered suggestions and was so attentive. I will certainly be back for any formal wear that my family needs and have told everyone of our great experience and recommended that others go there. To the lady that assisted us, thank you so much for making us feel special and important and being so patient with my very picky, ornery and hard to fit teen, it was so appreciated!

You choose the date in which you want to hold the dress for and pick it up. They're completely transparent about any damages or stains on the dresses if someone who booked the dress previously have stained it or damaged it which is nice and good to know. Of course she was distraught and felt she was never going to find a dress. Well Dream put my daughter's mind at ease as she isn't a size 18 but a size 14! Bridal stores apparently have a much smaller sizing scale and Dream told her if she doesn't find anything else (in regular stores) to come back. The dress we truly liked for my daughter was a bit out of our price range and she didn't coerce us to buy, which is so refreshing. If you are looking for really nice plus size clothing that is not frumpy, this is a great place to start. Most items are very reasonable, prom dresses being as they are with all the bling are a bit pricier, but not ridiculous. Just wanted to let everyone know about this gem that's also run by a gem! One of the dresses was originally meant to be in a light color, but plans changed. The dress was ordered and paid for (by my mom), but it was never picked up -- in fact, the store hadn't even received it yet. I asked if I could change the color to black so it would match the other bridesmaids. The owner told me absolutely no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances. Considering the store made thousands of dollars from us, and this particular dress wasn't in their possession yet, I think it's unfair that I wasn't allowed to make a simple change. A little flexibility would have gone a long way, especially for a bridal party spending this much money. Because of this, I would only recommend shopping here if you are absolutely, 100% certain of every detail before you pay. Once they have your money, there is no flexibility. Sadly, due to how this was handled, I would not recommend Madeline's to others in the future

Ava and Talin really care about their customers and it is clear that they have expertise and passion for their work. In addition to what we selected, they brought out other mother of the groom dresses for us to try on based on what they knew would be suitable for our body types. They also made alteration suggestions so that the dresses would meet our vision/comfort level. We never felt pressured to buy or rushed despite the fact that another couple was waiting for assistance. The lady working there was very nice, she let us look on our own and was always there to help you clip up your dress if you needed to which is especially nice since some boutiques have the workers breathing down your neck. The place is really clean, you have to leave your shoes at the door and there's a little basket of slippers underneath one of the chairs for you to use. The dresses were organized by colours and length (long and short) and she told us not to worry too much about colour because these dresses will come in other colours if you order it. Now the dresses itself in my opinion are okay. The styles were nice and ranged around 500$ which is standard for those types of dresses and especially the brands. My problem began when I was led over to a staff member that is clearly tasked with selling as many accessories as possible. For 15 minutes I was subjected to one of the most polished, high pressure, aggressive (think timeshare broker) attempts to up sell that I have ever experienced. Everything from shirts, socks and pocket puffs was pushed on me. "What do you mean you don't have a Christmas office party to go to?" was a memorable comment made to me. I'm a jeans and t shirt guy. I JUST WANTED A BLACK SUIT FOR MY MOTHER'S FUNERAL!!! Finally the guy that fitted me interrupted and took me to the cash register. He didn't apologize, but I could see it in his eyes. Afterwards I did contact Moores about this situation but never received a reply. Too bad for them. Three sons near high school graduation and needing formal wear. Perhaps future weddings. None of that business will go to Moores. As long as I draw breath on this earth I will never step foot in a Moores store. Her job is to watch what you pick off the rack and get tons of accessories ready for the attack. What happened next was one of the slickest high pressure sales pitches I have ever encountered. She had two shirts, a formal and more casual tie, poofs for the pockets, shoes, socks, tie pin and cuff links. After patiently saying no for 15mins and arguing with her that no, I really only wear a suit once every few years. I will not be returning to this location.

As far as the actual clothing selection, there were so many other cute items that I would've bought if I had the space in my luggage!
