    Sink was clogged.
    Azul R.

Leaking water all around the floor. The sink was clogged. I couldn't even use the sink. I feel so bad, because it was almost midnight and I was scared to walk all the way to the next building to ask for help. My mom that is 88 years old and i, had to stay like that.

My partner and I came here for a staycation in October. It was nice! There was plenty of parking, the room was clean (for the most part), and a good deal on expedia. There isn't much privacy given the glass shower and sliding bathroom door. The tub worked well and the shower had decent pressure! I would come back and recommend to other couples.

Romantic swan towels greet you upon entrance.

Mirrors on the ceiling Pink champagne on ice Okay. You have to bring your own pink champagne and ice, but they've got the mirrors on the ceiling and if you haven't ever got your freak on with that amenity then you need to check it out. We got the heart shaped jacuzzi tub room, and although the hot/cold levers were backwards, we figured it out and there was plenty of hot water for a romantic bubble bath. The hotel is a little dated and cleanliness isn't perfect, but if you're coming here for sexy fun times with your best friend(s?) then you really have to try it once to see if mirror ceilings are your jam. This is our go-to spot for vacations that include more time for staying in the room. Make sure to keep that phone video charged and ready to go because....memories. ;)

Weekend getaway , thought we would try a different place.

At first I was somewhat impressed , they added flowers as I requested, and room was decent but once you settle in you find all the issues and flaws. Spa tub looked dirty, turns out just heavy duty scuff Mark's. Lack of plugs in the room, 1 by the bed on the lamp but was loose and wouldn't charge my phone or any other device unless I held it in place. Lack of parking was another issue, only about 5 stalls to park then 3 out in the street. My biggest complaint you can hear everything above you, and the room next to you. And i mean everything. Foot steps , talking muffled , and the beds squeaking, . Fire place worked, took a while to heat up, and the thermostat was hidden behind the tv. Face of the fireplace vents were somewhat bent. Bed was king size, so plenty of room but stiff and not the most comfortable.

Woke up to this the morning we were supposed to leave

Spacious room. Comfy bed. Nice jetted tub, big enough for 2 chunkies Faux fireplace gave off great heat and added a nice glow. The swan folded towels were a cute addition. Chris at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful with booking for one more night after we got snowed in. Lovely place. This is an adults only portion of another property next door (where the family rooms are) where we had to check in. Housekeeping was excellent and very accommodating with our request for towels. Nice outdoor seating, great place to gather and strike up conversations with other guests.

The townhomes are beautiful and have 3 levels. I see they've made some improvements- probably based on families. The stairs are steep, so with two kids running around, it can be nerve wrecking. I saw they added nice child gates to the top of their sets of stairs. In the townhomes, you have 3 levels and 2 patios: one patio on the second floor (living area with a half bath) with an egg chair and table setting. The third level is the bed space and that patio has the soaking tub and a little seating area. Their main bathroom is huge- beautiful modern shower with a huge soaking tub for two. The soaking tub takes some agility getting in and out, but is nice and deep and has jets. It takes a while to fill up, but once it does, it's really relaxing. We love how both walls next to the sliding glass doors on both levels have a see thru fireplace. Such a cute, romantic detail that's nice to have running while you're relaxing. The heated floors in the bathroom are an added perk. Oh! And you get your own garage- even though you still have to access the home from outside the garage. They are incredible accommodating. They have a list of things offered on request like kids toys, hygiene kits, ironing board, etc. They get added points for having those really expensive amazing Dyson hair dryers as their hair drying option too It's one of our favorite places to stay!

The grounds of the hotel are absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the beach watching the sunset over Lake Tahoe. I love that they offer fun activities such as board games and s'mores around the fire. They offer morning, yoga classes by the lake as well as lawn games like cornhole. The pool looked wonderful, although we did not partake. This is definitely a spot you would want to come if you were celebrating a wedding or an anniversary. The price was also much more reasonable compared to many of the nearby hotels, making it a great value. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Coachman Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and conveniently located place to stay in South Lake Tahoe.

We also have a friend who is a photographer and we haven't had professional photos taken since our wedding 18 years ago so we thought The Landing would be the perfect place since they host weddings here and it's right next to the beach. There are so many excellent parts to mention but I will start with the staff. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. Our 15 year old had just passed and so our 12 year old was a little lost and loved all of the attention. She was treated just like one of the family. They even allow dogs on the free shuttle which is so perfect so we were able to go into the village and have lunch with her. It's a downhill walk back and so pretty, so we enjoyed the fresh air back. They upgraded our room and the views of the lake were perfect. It was so easy taking Juno out for potty breaks. It was extremely quiet and clean. The heated floors and toilets are a nice touch. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it is the best meal I've had in Tahoe. The Venison is unbelievably tender and flavorful. My husband loved his homemade pasta with huge prawns. Our server, Kevin, went above and beyond to make the night special. They even let us take a few pictures in the bar area which I think turned out really cool with all of the bottles and colors in the background. Of course we all come for Tahoe! This place is right on a perfect spot. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, some trees and grassy areas also made for perfect pictures. We were there right at the start of Memorial Day weekend so it was extremely quiet and peaceful. I had to stop the flooding myself, getting soaked in dirty water contaminated with urine and feces. Reaching anyone for help was nearly impossible--the front desk and operator didn't answer, and housekeeping took 10 minutes to pick up. After engineering temporarily repaired the toilet that was on its way out, housekeeping barely cleaned the bathroom. They wiped up the visible mess with towels but never mopped or disinfected the area, despite us traveling with children and a baby. I went down to speak with the front desk manager, Kayla Smith at 5:00 a.m. after losing an entire night's sleep, the only compensation she offered was some resort credit. I asked for a late checkout so we could at least get some rest, but I was told the hotel was "fully booked" and couldn't accommodate the request. On a Monday, that explanation was difficult to believe and felt like an excuse rather than a genuine attempt to help.
